  1. Comcast is such a bunch of scum bags. My "promotion" expired in June so now they've been raising my bill $10 every month. Combined with constant calls while I'm at work to upgrade, that started in April. At least one guy had the decency to tell me I had the best plan I could get before it "expired".

Ive found they will work with you better in person rather than on the phone.  If you go in and complain about your bill being too high they will get it back down......with more promotions that will expire in 3 or 6 or 12 months, then you've gotta do it all over again. As an example, they'll give you a free HBO promotion repeatedly, forever. You just have to keep an eye out for when it expires.

I have the free HBO right now. Just talked on the phone to no avail, so I'll cancel it tomorrow. Pretty much what I was planning on to begin with. This dog and pony show is so annoying. They tried to up sell me to a $70 service when I can switch to Spectrum or AT&T, get faster speeds, and subscribe to HBOnow all for less than that.

If only they actually cared about the customer. Sigh...

Just needed to vent to you fools.

Zrod I just found out that they consider those promotions 'contracts' and when I cancelled my service since my fiancee took care of our Comcast at our new house I was charged an additional $80 for cancelling at my previous place because I did so before their so called 'promotion' had ended.  Total crooks so if you do consider cancelling and are on a promotion of any kind ask them of there's a penalty first.  Try YouTube TV or Hulu live maybe.
