  1. tommie has the experience........but his passing skills are far from great...... staring down his receivers is a basic flaw that should be corrected in practice....doing this in game time will prove troublesome. It's a basic flaw QBs have had here for the better part of a decade, and it comes with youth as well. I think the reason people are high on Fyfe is his maturity and quick decision making. The guy you want to throw to is covered? No big deal, instead of forcing it he makes the high percentage check down to the running back for a big gain. I think Fyfe could be a huge influence on TA, as long as Tommy is willing to learn and not try to hit a HR on every down. You don't have to tell me. At this point based on the limited amount I've seen of Fyfe and no real improvement from TA, Ryker should get strong consideration if a game goes south.

  3. What does that have to do with Taylor's interview? Yeah wtf True? I know you got a man crush on the kid, but come on man.
  4. I believe Moss did it on pick six last year. I don't think B1G refs really call it, it's a pretty idiotic rule. But I think it could ha e got called if he left it up there.

  7. Gotta say the game being on CBS sprots and not being able to see a replay really blows.

Possibly on BTN football in 60, but they don't list the games in the channel report. CBS doesn't have a replay of it today. BTN2GO and ESPN3 are amazing...

  8. This makes sense... 14. Georgia 16. South Carolina
  9. Well as defending national champion returning your Heisman winner, I think you're pretty much entitled to the top spot unless you lose.
  10. Laying in bed now, wondering if we'll be on college football round up... prly not
  11. Ameer Abdullah saving Nebraska's butt since freshman year!
  12. That was probably one of the first weeks almost every single team began wearing the flag on their helmet.
  13. Technically it is the correct direction. The military wears it backwards because if the flag were "flown" correctly on their shoulder patch it would mean they were in retreat not advancing forward.
  14. i think the opposite tbh I understand significance, but pure awesomeness.... I mean he made easily top 3 best catches i have ever seen. Ameer's run was important but nothing overly outlandish compared to history of football.... Guess i am a lone wolf on this opinion. Jordans catch had a chance to beat a ton of other plays.. ameers run wont withstand the test of time. You're not alone my friend. I hear ya clucking. And furthermore I agree.

This week? Lol. Been one of those seven year weeks I guess. I'm still hanging in there, but I'm not impressed and I get the feeling a lot of the offseason talk from he's coaches was a lot of smoke up our asses. Tempered expectations are so much easier on a man, unless you're tied with an FCS school on 3rd and 6 with 0:43 left in the game.

He seems fast enough to me, he's just a step behind because his eyes aren't in the right place. Tackling is another story though. Yea, but atleast tackling is a new issue. We've never had trouble with tackling in recent history. It's....whats the word? Fixable. It's all fixable. Six or seven years from now I imagine we will begin to improve in tackling. Yeah, the being out of place/eyes thing is pretty systemic at this point. If things don't shape up this season me thinks somebody should probably be looking for a new job.

Not sure he was covering Wide Receivers but when we bring extra blitzers, the DE has to pick up the back out of the backfield. Been that way for years. Usually doesn't work very well but the gamble is the pressure prevents the completion. He was actually on a receiver for one of those, but I think the safety who was supposed to help over the top bit on another route for a split second and was late to the coverage. Fortunately we got enough pressure that is was a bad throw and the receiver couldn't adjust.
  20. There is a joke in here somewhere... Did I find it?
  21. i guess i do not get the point of this post. Then you sir don't get Huskerboard.

Funny thing. Bo said they made the adjustments on the sideline to fix the problems, but the players continued to make mistakes.
  23. Ingram I believe. That seemed like more of a consolation to Bama never having a winner before.I think this was the year Suh should have won it, right?Yup.
