All I can say is I firmly believe we're heading in the right direction. It finally seems like the culture I associate with the Huskers is coming back, that this team is in the right place, that maybe we have the right coaches in place. I don't demand instant results, and improvement doesn't have to come in the shape of wins.

Know of any good/cheap places to stay? It's drive-able for me, but the housing could be prohibitive.

I'd love to see TA take the red shirt. I think that way Carnes will stay happy, TA will have a better grasp of what's going on and we'll have him longer. Keep the QB's staggered.

Glad to know a little more, I hope whatever was getting to Tyler gets resolved and wish him the best. Sometimes we all have to just take a step back and realize life is more than football. Even in Nebraska.

I'm not sure what more Bo will say. I suspect things will play out like this: Media: What can you tell us about Tyler Moore leaving? Bo: Nothing. Next question Bo: Tyler is no longer on the team. Media: What is the reason for Moore's departure from the team? Bo: Personal differences. Media: Is that..(Bo interupts) Bo: Look Tyler's no longer on the team. We have a culture around here and Tyler feels he's better somewhere else. I wish him luck. Next question. That's my guess how it will go. I'm sure Bo is not going to want to talk about it. I'm usually a lurker, but trying to speak up a little more.

Personally, I see 4-5 games that scare me and one game that is a possible loss. Scary games - Michigan, MSU, Ohio State and Wisconsin in the regular season plus Bowlgame/conference championship. Iowa is the game I think it's also possible to botch. I think the rest we should expect to win. This is a tough conference, but no tougher than when the Big 12 fielded good teams regularly.

Personally I think Bo has done a fantastic job of fixing the culture of the program. I think that was really shown just recently with Ryan Klachko. Now that the programs culture seems to have stabilized, I hope that the playing can stabilize. For this to happen, we need to get our coaching tree on lock down, get the same system in place, keep it in place, and allow players to learn systems. The championships will come eventually, be they conference or MNC's.

Who needs perspective and logic when we have passion! If we hire a new coach, he'll win us a NC in the first season. Duh. Would like to see what happens when we have consistency in play calling on the O side of the ball.

I think the biggest turning point in the game was the drive in the 3rd for USC that started with them picking up flags for a block in the back on a punt. There were 2 flags thrown on the same block and they got picked up. Followed by the bs PI call, followed by another penalty that didn't look quite right from the stands. With that in mind, the Huskers gave the game away, too little execution deep in USC territory.

I have a hard time believing we didn't sell out our allotment. But it was good to see ND implode again...even though I might've picked them. The last tally I saw was 8500 of 12500 tickets sold from the Nebraska allotment. Many people cite the price of flights being too high as main reason not going. It's a good reason, between that and not wanting to get felt up or irradiated, I wouldn't want to fly either. It's also a really long drive, I've done it a few times. White knuckle with idiots doing 100mph weaving through traffic from atl south. I think it's more that you can get good seats cheap on the secondary market. I looked at the official tickets and they didn't have what I wanted. Went to the secondary market and got front row seats.

1. We need to coach our fundamentals better. Too many penalties (even the phantom roughing the punter shouldn't have happened), too many dropped balls, too many fumbles, too many high tackles. 2. We have one single solid member of our secondary, the others can be good at times but are going to make stupid mistakes 3. David is a beast 4. I need to stop traveling to away games. Anyone else have the misfortune of being at both the Wisconsin and Michigan game?

I'll be coming in from Kalamazoo for the game and hopefully for a bit of time beforehand. Anyone planning on doing any tailgating? (I also put up a request in the other thread). I also got my tickets from the university, so who knows who will be surrounding me. GBR
