I went with the Northwestern catch as well, and purely because it was more dramatic. To me, it does seem like it was more "lucky" than the catch against Georgia, one of those things that just goes right, whereas the Georgia catch was more truly indicative of our team's skills. -

Eh, I don't harbor a ton of loyalty for the Big Ten yet. I know I should, and probably will one day, but I'm still rooting for them (Iowa aside) for the selfish reason that it makes us look a bit better. And if it makes the SEC look overrated, even better.

I used to watch Duck Dynasty, until I got a cheaper cable package. It's hard to really know a person from what we see of them on TV, but he seems like a pretty genuine guy. I don't begrudge him his opinions, but he did himself no favors in the way he expressed them. I don't think he's a hateful person, but his words in this interview seem harsh. As a Christian, I can see what he was trying to say, but it makes me cringe, especially what he said about pre-civil rights. You can't expect people not to want those kind of statements expounded upon. His opinion on homosexuality can't be a surprise to A&E, though.

They have those boxes in the airport that your carry-on has to fit into to go on the plane, so let's use the same principle. Narrow the metal detector to a set width and if you touch the edges when you walk through (like in that game operation) it buzzes and they charge you extra. -

It seemed to me like the rumorwhirlwindstravaganza during the season was centered not only on the administration's feelings about Bo, but also whether or not Bo would leave of his own accord. Bo finally had to come out and tell the players he hadn't resigned due to the magnitude of speculation from the fans, and a few weeks later Eichorst had to come out and tell everyone he wasn't firing Bo due to the magnitude of speculation from the fans. There's one variable consistent through both of these events and I'll give you a hint, it's the fans.
