    I like our chances too, but this is not the same team that lost to NW 3 weeks ago. Stave can make some throws in the play action game and Gordon can rip off big runs.

    Here is how Rutgers scored their TDs 1. Busted play after Gerry came off his man when the QB scrambled. A talented WR then ran thru the defense for a long TD. 2. Rutgers took over around the 20 after a fumbled snap by NU. Tough to be too mad at the D for that. 3. Rutgers had a long drive in the 4th quarter against mainly 2nd string defenders.

    Wisky is playing much better after going to Stave at QB. It will be a tough game.

    This and they were one drive away from being a "one loss" team.Even if they were one loss and the score was the same it would be we aren't that great we should destroy Rutgers every year. For the most part NU did "destroy" Rutgers. NU was up 25, with the ball and then had a bad turnover. Then NU answered that scoring drive to go back up by 25. I am not going to get all worked up by that last Rutgers TD.

    Mike'l Severe made a great point about today's game that I have been thinking about too. People want to complain about the team they root for, but we don't want to give credit to the other team. Rutgers is a decent team. They have athletes and good players. It's not like NU is going against air out there.

    If Bo was being honest to Randy, Bo should tell Randy to go pro. Randy is most likely going to be a top 10 pick, maybe even top 5. The best thing Bo could tell Randy is to go pro, but be smart with your money. Get a nice rookie contract, stay healthy for 4 years, and then get a nice 2nd contract. I really hope Randy doesn't come back to NU. I want to see him tear up the NFL and get his money.

    I think the crowd will actually look forward to a day game after having so many night games in a row. When you throw in a nice, fall day and a new opponent, I think the crowd will be ready to cheer on the Huskers.

    Man, some of you guys are some harsh critics. I give Tommy a solid B. He could be better, but I am not going to say he's been terrible or even average. He's been "good", which equates to a B in my grade book.

    I liked this week's Blackish. It was less about the family being black in a white world, but it was more about the roles and responsibilities of working parents. Not bad IMO.

    Weren't too many new shows this year that caught my attention. I am watching Blackish though. I agree with the OP, in that it's not great and may lose a spot on my DVR soon. I am not sure how much longer they can do "black-guy in a white environment" humor before it gets old and boring.

    Wasn't there a 30 for 30 short about Osborne going for 2 in the 1984 Orange Bowl? I don't know if there is a compelling story about NU out there that an entire nation would be interested in to make a full 30 for 30.
