I've been lurking around this board for close to a year and with all the good things happening with Cornhusker football decided it's time to join.

I was born and grew up in Omaha. Did post graduate work at UNO, Texas A&M and Texas.

I remember the height of the Bob Devaney era and saw the NU vs USC game from down near the field at the 50 yard line back in 70 or 71. I think SC was rated #1 going into that game and NU tied them. I actually thought we could have won that one.

I remember the "game of the century" but unfortunately was not at the stadium for that one.

I sort of stopped watching after Osborne resigned cuz it got too depressing to watch the Huskers loose just about every big game I could get on TV.

However, THE HUSKERS ARE BACK. :restore
