Major can move very well both north-south and side to side. He is cat quick playing inside out. Major reads and reacts as quick as anyone you will see among his peers. He is a ferocious hitter who plays with passion, aggressiveness and is relentless on the field. Major can shed blockers and get to the ball. He shows good vision, agility and instincts for the linebacker position. More Scout: The Midland Region also boasts the Country’s No. 2 rated linebacker (second to Arthur Brown) in Ponderosa, Colo., standout Jon Major. Major is an absolute beast on the field who flies to the ball in run support, but also shoots the gap extremely well. Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: ? We need to pull this one out of CO...Let's get this guy! Quote Link to comment

HuskerMan
We get Major and Brown, and we will be set at two of the Linebacker spots for the next four years. Thats probably true. But unfortunately I will consider us lucky if we get one of them, let alone both of them. Quote Link to comment

chamrocck
Link here: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news?slug=ri...tory_recruiting Major has cut his schools from around 50 down to 20. Good news...we made the cut. Bad news...he will be cutting down to 10 and he already has 5 slotted in his top 10...they are Oklahoma, Colorado, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Oregon...we need to get in this guy's top 10 and get him N for a visit! He is right next door in Colorado and I don't see him going to the CU program...OU would have to be the leader but I think they are giving him the snow job that he'll play early for their own depth and to keep him away from other Big 12 schools. We are primed to make a run at this guy...what are we waiting for? Git R Done! Quote Link to comment
zoogs
What the heck? From fifty schools? These kids are rolling in a honeycomb of comfort. Quote Link to comment

Ohio Pete
NU made the cut on his top 11 list no particular order Alabama Colorado Michigan Nebraska Northwestern Oklahoma Oregon Tennessee USC Virginia Wisconson info came from his recruiting diary for scout Interesting list. Surprising Texas never offered him. Or Ohio State for that matter since he apparently was pursuing the offer from them. Just a case of too much talent and too few scholarships. Lets hope the same thing happens at USC. They are the only school on this list that worries me. KSU somehow didn't make the cut. Quote Link to comment
