jjamuss
Does anyone have thoughts as to who will pick up Mo, and what round he will go in? I've never been a fan of pro ball, but I think whatever team picks up Purify will be the team I follow. Quote Link to comment

Grant it there are players that stand out on occasion but for the most part they are plentiful. Quote Link to comment
bethelbacker
He won't go very high due to his lack of high-end speed, but he'll go on the second day sometime. Coaches love a red-zone threat like him who can exploit mismatches, even if he doesn't run a 4.4 Quote Link to comment
Cy the Cyclone
strictly free-agent material... Quote Link to comment
PIMPZILLA
I think it's a long shot that Mo gets drafted. I'm sure he'll have plenty of opportunity as a free agent invite to some team's camp. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh
I've seen him as high as the third round in some mock drafts. Keyshawn Johnson made a career without top-end speed. There are a lot of "slow" receivers in the NFL, route running and having good hands are more important. Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
If he can have a decent combine I would think he can say to the NFL teams "Look what I did in my last couple of games when they finally started using me like they should have all year" and might help him have a shot Quote Link to comment
husker249
I'm sorry.....as much as i like Mo, i think he goes undrafted. He would have to drastically improve his stock between now and the draft, but i can definetely see him being signed by a team as a free agent. He has really good hands and is a huge threat in the red zone because of his frame. Quote Link to comment
BaytownHusker
I hope he gets drafted.. But i just hope he comes to Houston..... Quote Link to comment
gmoney88
Didnt Sean Payton come to a practice recently (like last couple of years) and when asked if any of the players "caught his eye" he mentioned a certain number 16? Could be another Colston type pickup.... Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Solid 4th or 5th rounder. Lots of big possession receivers make it in the pros. Quote Link to comment
stickman4705
he'll be drafter in second day mostly because of his size and hands. but the pro scouts won't soon forget that he had a monster day against arguably the best corner in the draft, mr. talib Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
yes he did own talib...too bad KU owned us. Quote Link to comment
Husker B
He'll get drafted. Hell, there are teams that throw away draft picks on QBs from Hofstra in the 6th and 7th rounds. Purify is an awesome red zone receiver, hasn't had too many problems catching the ball, and has a real good vertical. Some team will take a flier on him in the 5th. My money is on the Chiefs. Awesome 2nd WR to take over for Bowe when he moves into Kennison's spot next year. Quote Link to comment
