huskerguy
Big 12 had some good classes, but most surprisingly CU is wrapping up a pretty impressive class headlined by the nations #1 RB 1 Oklahoma 21 3 12 5 3.81 2,422 2 Texas 20 0 12 7 3.55 1,919 3 Colorado 20 1 7 9 3.30 1,524 4 Texas A&M 25 0 7 15 3.16 1,522 5 Missouri 23 1 2 16 3.00 1,214 6 Oklahoma State 27 0 6 16 3.04 1,211 7 Kansas State 33 0 4 22 2.91 1,194 8 Nebraska 27 1 2 20 3.00 1,159 9 Kansas 20 0 2 18 3.10 899 10 Texas Tech 15 0 3 10 3.07 700 11 Baylor 21 0 1 8 2.48 453 12 Iowa State 23 0 1 6 2.35 281 #8 defiantly won't cut it in years to come I don't think, but for a new somewhat unproven staff coming into this situation I think we did a great job, and some of the 2* walk ons and stuff like that doesn't show in the rankings I think looks great Quote Link to comment
BeachBuffs
Big 12 had some good classes, but most surprisingly CU is wrapping up a pretty impressive class headlined by the nations #1 RB OU's class is looking pretty sick, some implosions on some of the Horn boards as to why Brown is getting punked this season in recruiting. I did read an interesting post from someone speculating that Mack was putting a lot more emphasis on character this year since they have had some legal issues with a few key players. Landlord
Why exactly did Missouri get placed higher than us? Same # of 5 stars, same # of 4 stars, we had more 3 stars, and the same star average... Quote Link to comment

kstatehater
Now for rankings that don't weight JUCO's the same as a 4 year player, also takes account team needs and position balance... 1. Oklahoma (11th Nationally) 2. Texas A&M (14th) 3. Texas (17th) 4. Nebraska (21st) 5. Colorado (27th) 6. Missouri (30) 7. Oklahoma St (36) 8. Kansas St (44) 9. Kansas (46) 10. Texas Tech (48) 11. Iowa St (63) 12. Baylor (64) Quote Link to comment

ironmike
comparing the two ranking lists is interesting, but I think huskerguy hit the nail on the head when he noted that "classes 5-8 are all pretty similar". Quote Link to comment

I'd say 4-8, but potato pototo, I think there's Oklahoma, Texas and A&M and then a small gap and then Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, Ok St, K St, can pretty well be scrambled around anyway you want. Also, though that's why I don't worry to much about team rankings, if your in the top ten the you should be excited, but after that there's not a lot seperating teams ranked 11th-40th depending on the year of course some years are more top heavy to where maybe you say anyone from 20th-40th are pretty similiar, now lets just see what Bo and Co can do with them. ICT HSKR 10
Still can't believe KSU taking 20 JUCO's. Unreal. Quote Link to comment
strigori
ESPN has NU ranked #22 overall. OU, TExas and A&M are the only Big 12 schools they have ahead of us. Quote Link to comment

ESPN's rankings are crap though, they use how many players are in their Top 150. Rivals and Scout look at a kid overall, I prefer Rivals just because their site is easier to navigate but I know a lot of people like Scout. I think your class looks pretty decent and Bo did a great job of putting his finger in the dike. Quote Link to comment

BIGREDIOWAN
It all matters on the source it seems, Scout has us ranked like 27th or 30th and has CU ranked like 15th. Then you go to rivals and it's different? We'll just have to see how these guys pan out. Quote Link to comment
BeachBuffs
Listening to Mack Brown now and he did acknowledge that his recruiting class is one of his best character classes. Quote Link to comment
