WR Frantz Hardy

Looks like another Husker is going to get a shot at the NFL. Hardy has signed a deal with the Eagles. Here's a link a list of teams and who their taking through free agency. For some reason not all teams are listed.

Good for him!! I think these players are getting a bum deal because Callahan couldnt bring out the best in them... they all had the talent and ability, but no one to lead them through battle.

FULLY AGREEED!

Hardy had unreal speed and a ton of potential. No coaching. Wait and see how some of the guys do in the NFL that didn't really stand out last year. We had a ton of talent. Some of it sat on the bench way too much. I for one kinda got away from pro ball for a while. But this year and next it will be interresting to see how some of these guys do. I for one believe they are way more talented and have way more potential than they had the opourtunity or chance to show.

Not saying I dissagree about blaming Callihan for everything but Global Warming, but I would think their position coaches would have more to do with their developement..How could so many coaches be this inept? <_<

If this is the case, our future WR are screwed because we have the same WR coach that we did for all of Frantz' 3 years. Is it possible that the guy just has stone hands?

Hardy is fast, but he seems waaaay to small to be able to cut it as a wr in the NFL.

Wes Welker anyone?

He would be good as a slot wr if his hands get better.

Theres a difference between quick and fast. Hardy may be fast, but he's not quick like Welker. The point I'm making is that theres no way in heck Hardy will make it if he ran all those quick medium routes that Welker lives off of.

Hardy's still sticking around with the Eagles. A practice report:

9:08 AM - Nick Graham, fighting for a job as the fifth cornerback, isn't happy that Frantz Hardy just made a catch over him, so he chases down Hardy and strips the ball loose. On the next play, DeSean Jackson blows right by Quintin Demps to make a great play. Then, Jason Avant (who caught every ball thrown his way) absolutely punks Therrian Fontenot with a double move, getting a good six yards of separation.
