shagg
i know he had a couple of penalties but ....wow! what a closing speed he had for a LB...we need more of these type of athletic ability at the LB spot Quote Link to comment
Army Husker
It definately is a love/hate relationship, but ur right...his athleticism is definately up there. Quote Link to comment
hskrpwr13
He was definitely a liability today other than the one play where he ran Griffin down across the field. I'm treating it as a one-off bad game. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
The dude's great at LB. No doubt about it. Quote Link to comment
The Maudfather
The dude's great at LB. No doubt about it. I don't know if I would say great. He definitely shows flashes of greatness, but he's very inconsistent. Its a shame we only have him at LB for one year because I think if he spent a few more years in the system he could be up there with the Sean wetherspoons and other top LB's. Quote Link to comment
huzkerbob
Even if he doesn't get anouther tackle all year, I love what he has been able to do for us so far. Just imagine what are D would look like without him out there. YIKES!!! Quote Link to comment
macroboy
I love this kid. I think his importance as a leader on the defense is crucial. I wish we could see what kind of linebacker he'd be with 2 or 3 more years at it. BTW- anyone notice that the starting line-up on the official stat sheets is Cody as the only LB with 4 CB's. I think the staff is using some of the younger faster CB's to play LB...kind of. Quote Link to comment
shagg
it's refreshing to see our LB actually run somebody down with speed... Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
it's refreshing to see our LB actually run somebody down with speed... Amen to that . Last season that NEVER happened. Quote Link to comment
pctopeka
The guy is a real football player, not just an athlete in a football uniform. We need about another 70 guys just like him. That is the difference between the Devaney/Osborne/Solich players and the Callahan players, although the Callahan players are picking it up. Keep up the good work, guys!! We know some of you read this, and we're really happy with the way your're playing. Quote Link to comment
Sker4Ever
Love this guys intesity. BTW his facemask penalty did not warrant a person foul. Got a little facemask then slipped to the jersey. Poor officiating all around today. Quote Link to comment
huskerpilot
yeah, he closes FAST...we needed that real bad. He does have penalties sometimes, but I can't blame him. He doesn't have the experience in that position to know much better, allot of football when tackling is instinct, and he's still building that. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
His penalties are killers. He needs to be a little more disciplined. He has a lot of talent, but you have to stay within the rules. Guess they will be doing some running this week? Quote Link to comment
skerfan1705
His penalties are killers. He needs to be a little more disciplined. With the penalties...I know players need to follow the rules, but each year the NCAA puts new rules into affect that make it tougher to make plays...I mean...if you accidentally wave your hand in the QB's face you get 15 yards!! And I know it's a safety issue........... but that damn Horse Collar Bull Sh*@t drives me nuts! Quote Link to comment
RedNLeader
Fast that he is, and hes doing a really great job this year. But just think how good he could be if he had made the switch earlier in his career. I had thought for sure that baylors qb was gone on his reverse scramble...but then here comes glenn to chase him down NICE!!! Quote Link to comment
