zE bOp
Blaine Gabbert whoa wouldnt that be weird. Yeah, my thought too, but Gabbert is gonna be alot better than Freeman and Mizzou is a much better team than KSU. Big Red should be better next year even with a rookie QB; I think Witt looks pretty good and who knows, Cody Green might be the next Terelle Pryor! So, we should have a good shot at knocking off Mizzou next year. But I want Joey to STAY!!! Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
I think with MU and the Huskers both losing their starting QB, the whole dynamics of the northern division will be up for grabs. I think Mizzou faces the same challenges we do in the off season, trying to keep the focus and getting players with little experience up to speed, but I also think Mizzou has been able to get some of the younger kids in more than we have been willing or able to do. That will make a difference. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfromIL
Mizzou is a tough call next year. They definately have some solid young talent coming up. I think the key for us if we can get much more physical on both sides of the ball. Being physical can beat a finesse team, that is why MU can't be OU. IF our team continues to get better at beating the tar out of the person in front of him...we will right the way this matchup is supposed to go! Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
It will definitely be interesting to see what happens here and at MU. I cannot wait to see/hear the battles going on for the QB position during spring and fall ball next year. Quote Link to comment
clone
Blaine Gabbert whoa wouldnt that be weird. Next QB Nebraska gets to go 3-0 on Blaine Gabbert I doubt it. Haven't even had a close game recently with mizzou. Maybe 1-2. opinions vary. BEAT CU!! Quote Link to comment
hskrpwr13
A lot of the speculation will depend on where Pinkel is coaching next year. He's yet to publicly address that. I wonder how much Washington is tugging at him. Quote Link to comment
lilred
Is Maclin going to go pro? Quote Link to comment
JGS30
I have a feeling Pinkels bags are packed. He losses a lot, and Washington is near and dear to his heart. The North is between KU and NU next year and I wouldn't be surprised if Nebraska won it. KU still has to play the 3 headed monster from the South, and the Nebraska defense is only going to get better under Bo. Quote Link to comment
WVhuskerXX
Maclin will be be a top 10 pick this year if he goes pro...so i wouldnt be surprised if he left. Same goes for Crabtree Quote Link to comment
Jarred04
Crabtree can't, can he? I thought you had to wait 2 years. This is only his second, right? Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
Is Maclin going to go pro? Would you if you were him.. I would. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh
Crabtree can't, can he? I thought you had to wait 2 years. This is only his second, right? He redshirted, so he is eligible. You just have to be three years out of high school. Quote Link to comment
huskersok
I like the husker's chances with a year of instruction for the defense under Bo. I think he has the chance the keep us in any game if he can get some players into his system. Quote Link to comment
