cb1954
I'm probably one of the few people here old enough to remember NU Iback Rick Berns. But the more I see of Helu he brings back memories of Berns. Running style seems similar, Berns was a little taller. Quote Link to comment
Spartness
I thought Rick Berns was a very good back who had decent straight ahead speed and was very powerful, but he certainly didn't have that burst through the hole and cutting ability of Helu. I don't see any similarities of the two. I would compare Rozier more to him than Berns. Quote Link to comment
Enhance
I would say more like a Rozier, as well. Helu seems like he could be the type of guy to juke people all over the field and take it into the end-zone. Very rarely have I seen Helu get brought down on the first hit, he makes people miss. 1 Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Helu makes people miss, but he doesn't exactly drag anyone along with him. So I wouldn't put him in the bigger and stronger camp with Berns and Rozier. 1 Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
Rozier really? Cory Ross or Derek Brown maybe, but not Rozier. Rozier could run people over as well as make them miss with his moves. I don’t think we will ever see Helu run anyone over. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER FREAK
I was really thinking that he is a lot like Craig Quote Link to comment

Huskerballz
I think Helu looks a lot like Helu...there's only one folks. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he's a heisman candidate his senior year. The kid's a special talent. We're lucky to have him. Quote Link to comment
Dirt Bag
Helu reminds me a lot of Tiger Woods...I don't know why. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
Berns and company got us a much needed win against OU. The Orane Bowl then F***** Us by inviting OU for a replay. I have never felt so violated in my life. T_O_B Quote Link to comment
Dundermifflinite
Helu's upright style, toughness, acceleration and ability to make the first man miss, then cut it up field, remind me most of, dare I say, Lawrence Philipps. 1 Quote Link to comment

But Helu may get there w his own style--he has a real knack for making that 1st cut, making peeps miss and finding a hole/crease. Quote Link to comment
