Guy Chamberlin
My kid has a soccer game here on the West Coast at noon. Didn't really bother me because I love my son and this is why God invented DVR. But this morning I found out ESPN2 will be airing Arizona State vs. Another Team I Don't Care About. I know ABC slices the country up in regional games but I thought ESPN always ran a national game based on the BEST AVAILABLE FOOTBALL GAME IN THE NATION, of which NU vs. VTech offers the only ranked teams playing each other. So now when the soccer game is over I gotta drag my kid to a sports bar and make his plate of french fries last three hours. Quote Link to comment
Vizsla1
That my son has two tee ball games tomorrow . One starts at 2:15 Im gonna dvr it and pray to god no one tells me anything. Hopefully Ill be back to celebrate with you guys. Just a couple hours late. I am stuck up in Chicago for the weekend on business. I am tempted to slip into North Bend and watch the Irish go down in flames with some extended family or go to downtown Chi town and watch the game at Kirkwoods. Quote Link to comment

It's like they've never even seen a Nebraska football schedule in their lives..... I have a wedding at 2:00 in omaha next saturday- needless to say I will not be present at the reception. omahadude
Just start drinking at like 7 am and claim that you are too drunk to coach. You'll be good and ready for the game and you won't have to coach; two birds with one stone. AND YOU SIR, ARE A TROLL!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
huskerstuckinmichigan
Ok, granted this doesn't have to do with tomorrow's game, but I got you all beat. My wife and I were married back in 97, yes when we used to stomp the s%$t out of everyone. Back then everyone looked at us on their schedule and counted that as a loss. When she said she wanted a Fall wedding, I looked up the Husker schedule and told her you have these two dates to pick from. Of course those were the Huskers off weeks. So, we got married on Sept 27, 1997 a Sat. in which the Huskers were off. If you don't believe me, look it up. When I tell that story her Mother still gives me evil looks. Oh well, my wife knew what she was getting into when she married me, she calls herself a Husker widow during football season. Of course her whole family is from Michigan and that was also the year we tied with them because we couldn't play each other. As you can imagine, trips back to her family were sooooo much fun. These people in this state still can't realize that Nebraska would have pounded Michigan into oblivion!!! Quote Link to comment
