Twodocs
Is alcohol a problem in Lincoln?. Is it hurting our offense? The bars are so numerous they just about give away shots. The idea is to get everyone drunk. . We seem to have a ton of bars very close, door to door near the University. No way are they there except to exploit students. .Do our athletes spend too much time getting drunk and hung over? .Can this cause 8 fumbles? Quote Link to comment

Yep, because all of those establishments were built right after the ULL game and weren't there during the 90s runs. Holy sh#t this is starting to get ridiculous. Did you go to college? It is like this in any town/city with a large university. Go to Austin, TX....the damn bars are in the middle of campus and triple the number of Lincoln. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
You obviously never frequented the bars back in the mid-90's. Didn't seem to pose a problem then. Quote Link to comment
killer cacti
Alcohol can be a problem anywhere. It's all about the responsibility of those who use it. Quote Link to comment

The Maudfather
Give me a break, OP. Every time I read one of your threads I want Brandon Spikes to gouge my eyes out. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Twodocs, is there someone on this site who posts frequently that you trust? I would suggest the next time you get an idea for a new thread, instead of posting it to the forum, go ahead and run it by that trusted person first, just to see what they say. Even if this is supposed to be a joke, it's pretty ridiculous. Quote Link to comment
flynlow
I assume Nebraska does the same as most, if not all programs do and that is to move the team to a local hotel on Friday afternoon and go into lock-down mode. Meetings, dinner, maybe a movie and bed checks. That would obviously prevent anyone being out drinking and developing a hangover. Quote Link to comment
