Foppa
Chances dread-boy comes north to chilly Nebraska- NilChances he will qualify anywhere- Nope Ok, does anyone actually KNOW for a fact that he will not qualify? From what I have read, all he has to do is get a qualifying score on his ACT/SAT and he is good to go. Those that think he has no shot of qualifying are most likely the same that thought Leon Jackson, Marlon Lucky, Rodney Picou, Brandon Jackson etc. had no chance of qualifying. Probably the same that think Thenarse and Palmer won't qualify. It's not difficult to qualify for college! i think foppa was just kidding there... Thanks there...I didn't add a ?? In all honesty, I know very little about the guy. If he comes, I hope he rocks AND qualifies. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
i think foppa was just kidding there... I know he was kidding, but I have seen so many posts about him having little to no chance of qualifying and I am wondering if these people have any actual info to back it up. Just wondering... HSKRNOKC
Deas would fill our class out nicely. It has been a hush hush affair with Mr. Deas.I hope that he is Husker by days end tomorrow along with the rest of our class. Signed sealed and delivered Huskers. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
I have seen so many posts about him having little to no chance of qualifying Wasn't he the player that took the year off from football to concentrate on his schoolwork or am I thinking of someone else? Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
not that it is wrong, but it has been some time since i have seen "so much ado about nothing" in regards to one thread about a recruit....Deas, in all probability, is probably somone we will not hear about for at least a year of JUCO, no matter who he plays for......would rather talk about the weather hunter Quote Link to comment

Big Red Cop
But like what has already been said, and I read somewhere, all that Deas reportedly needs is a passing ACT and to keep his grades up for the 2nd semester. I just get the feeling that Deas is closer to qualifying then most give him credit for! Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
hello, hi says that no one knows what he is going to do, & he is down to chosing b/w au, lsu, & NU! p.s. we may all find out more tomorrow (I say he will be NU's 24th verbal) Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I hope he ends up a Husker but one twist on the "shock the world" statement would be if he went to Hampton with former teammate Bynes. Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
deas is going to announce his intentions at (or around) 9am tomorrow morning! p.s. NU over okst (in stillwater) - wow! Quote Link to comment
Big Red Cop
OT....Who needs McCray???? Team seems to be getting along just well with White! Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
hello, here are 3 reasons why deas should come to NU: 1 NU offers immediate playing time (he could push cryer for playing time) 2 lsu has a verbal from al woods ***** - maybe the top hs dt in the country - plus, lsu has 25 verbals, now, w/ the possibility of 3 additional verbal/signies, tomorrow 3 au has 6 dt's listed on rivals w/ smith *****, ricks ****, isom (may play ot) ***, eddins ****, clayton **, blanc *** p.s. this is why I feel that deas is N, especially w/ his like & respect for blake Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
hootin I think your on to something. I have read a lot of people that are educated on the subject have the same gut feeling. Here is to hoping you and them are right. Quote Link to comment
Washusker
I say he goes to FSU only because it seems like we are not a hot commodity this year. Just seems like we don't have the same mojo as we did last year. I might very well be wrong, and if so, great. Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
hello & sorry about your prediction washusker, because mitch sherman has reported on the air that deas (through his hs coach) has eliminated fsu & au, & it is b/w lsu & NU! p.s. so stay tuned, because there is more to come Quote Link to comment
