holvy83
i was kind of shocked to read this, but then the more coaches that rank Texas #1 could rise NU's stock a little bit, he was not the only one that voted this way. Kind of interesting the way coaches vote, some gave Iowa no love at all and ranked them 19th, which i think if fair. Quote Link to comment
CENTEXHUSKER
Seen this earlier as well, Tim Griffin had it on his blog... Dan Hawkins: Nebraska, No. 19 Mike Leach: Nebraska, No. 21. Bo Pelini: Nebraska, No. 13 Gary Pinkel: Nebraska, No. 20 Mike Sherman: Nebraska, No. 16 Bob Stoops: Nebraska, No. 16 Quote Link to comment

irafreak
Well you know a lot of people putting texass high was to keep TCU/cinc/boise out of the title game just like those ranking iowa so low were to make sure tcu/boise got into bcs games. Quote Link to comment
Paul in WI
Pelini's vote doesn't surprise me, because there will come a time when Nebraska needs some love from our conference coaches. His vote didn't go unnoticed in Texas. It was a smart move. Quote Link to comment
papersun87
I love it when coaches rank their own teams higher than everyone else ranks them. Demonstrates confidence. Quote Link to comment

But I am impressed that he ranked us in the top 25. I figured he might be jealous that we don't have all those "fat little girlfriends" running around up here, distracting our players. Captain K
I think Bo wanted to make sure he got to see UT get their asses handed to them against Bama. Quote Link to comment
