Apathy
Lets see when I joined this board I wanted a name that involved something like Huskers, Blackshirts, or Cornhuskers in my name. I played numerous sports in high school, a little bit of basketball and wrestling but spent most of high school playing football. So since I like the Huskers and I was a jock in high school I put two to two together and got Huskerjock. I could've went with Rudy since that was my nickname throughout my football career in High School but chose not too since its an abovious ex Notre Dame Football player nickname. Quote Link to comment

HUSKER 37
Back in 2006 I first discovered message boards on the internet (porn would shortly follow). At the time I was a religiously die-hard fan of the TV show The Office. I still enjoy the show, but the freshness that existed in the first 2 and a half seasons has worn off. Anyway, in one of the early second-season episodes, the Michael Scott character refers to the employees of Dunder-Mifflin paper company as "Dundermifflinites." So it has nothing to do with liking Austrailian MILFs? (From down under) Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Husker was what I finally named my first Siberian Husky back in '72 as a 6th grader..after my favourite Football team at the time. 37 has become my Fav. number especially since moving away from the mudderland (NE). The liscense plates to my first cars and the cars to most of my friends and family all started with "37" due to Phelps County being the 37th most populated county in Nebraska. Also Nebraska was the 37th state admitted to the Union. Maybe it just gave me a little link to home that I was missing. Other reasons I wasn't aware of: 37is a prime number, the fifth lucky prime, the first irregular prime, the third unique prime and the third cuban prime of the form It is a factor of all 3-digit base 10 repdigits, such as 111. 37 is the smallest prime that is not also a supersingular prime. It is a centered hexagonal number and a star number. 37 and 38 are the first pair of consecutive positive integers not divisible by any of their digits. Every positive integer is the sum of at most 37 fifth powers (see Waring's problem). 37 appears in the Padovan sequence, preceded by the terms 16, 21, and 28 (it is the sum of the first two of these). Since the greatest prime factor of 372 + 1 = 1370 is 137, which is obviously more than 37 twice, 37 is a Størmer number. 37 is the only two digit number in base 10 whose product, when multiplied by two, subtracted by one, and then read backwards, equals the original two digit number: 37×2=74, 74-1=73, 73 backwards is 37. 37 is the only two digit number in base 10 with the following property: The difference between the two digits equals the square root of the difference between the number itself and the least common multiple of the two digits. The New York Yankees, also for Stengel. This honor made him the only manager to date to have had his number retired by two different teams (the Mets in 1965, the Yankees in 1970). In the NFL: The Detroit Lions, for Doak Walker. The San Francisco 49ers, for Jimmy Johnson (not to be confused with the coach of the same name).
