mturn087
Is anyone else kinda wondering whats going to happen off the field in Lincoln next year with Gill returning. He's one of the fan favorites that have continued to make Huskers proud even after. I for one think he deserves a warm welcome and at least a welcome from the annoucer. In the future will he be a great coach...i have no doubt he will be a great coach just wish its not with the Jayhawks Quote Link to comment

n.e.husker
Im sure that he will always be welcomed and feel welcomed when he is in Lincoln. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
I would imagine that he will get a standing ovation as he comes onto the field. The Husker faithful will show him a great deal of respect and appreciation for all he did/give to the program. Quote Link to comment

HUSKER 37
Love the guy... But. Someone HAS to at least make fun of his going so bald like that. He's making me feel old. Quote Link to comment

Mangino was a pretty decent coach. Will Turner do well there, or if not how long will he last? Quote Link to comment
JohnInKC
once a husker always a husker. he will always be welcomed here, but his team wont be. i live in kansas and i dont think kansas fans realize it yet in what they are getting in gill. he screams the nebraska tradition by the way he carries himself on and off the feild. mangino on the other hand was a good in game coach but was not liked well by his players. hated by the media and by the end of last year the fans started to really see what he was made up of. gill is twice the man mangino is, was, and ever will be.(insert your fat joke here) Quote Link to comment
NUance
I’m going to be cheering for KU to win every game now that Gill is coach. Well, except their Nov. 13 game. Quote Link to comment

blackshirts5115
who the heck is Turner Gill? Our next head coach I hope not! I like winning. Once Bo leaves for Ohio State after winning 2 titles here, Gill will be our head coach, and a damn good one. Quote Link to comment
