iLoveLamp
I bet you wouldnt think he was so scrawny in the weight room. Why's that? Do you lift with him? Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Because Alex is definitely not that scrawny. He's 6'2, 175 listed. Maybe if you put him next to a 6'2, 200 lb division 1 receiver, he's scrawny. But your average skinny guy is not 6'2, 175. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I'm just saying I've met Alex twice and he's not a big guy. He's very much not a big guy. Put him up against Joe on the Street and he's a little more buff, but he's no bigger. He's tiny for most football players. I will also mention that it's possible that his listing isn't entirely accurate. I'm 6'3" and he was not looking me eye-to-eye. But as I said before, nobody really should care how "big" Alex is. If he's got the skill to play that's all that counts. Muggsy Bogues was "too small" to play organized basketball, but he had a 14-year career in the NBA. Size matters not. Quote Link to comment
mmmtodd
I bet you wouldnt think he was so scrawny in the weight room. Why's that? Do you lift with him? no. he's a division 1 athlete involved in one of the countries top strength and conditioning programs. his overall strength would make 99% of this board look like pansies. Its his living. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
I agree with the above post and would even say that most 12th graders that have been playing football for 4 seasons would make most of the posters here seem weak. Quote Link to comment

While I agree with both of you, none of this means Alex is big or buff. The kid is slender by any measure, and even more so for a football player. Why is this a bad thing? Quote Link to comment
irafreak
It's not. The skinny assassin makes me smile everytime I hear it. Quote Link to comment
bleedNUred
I could care less how skinny he is, he's the best kicker in the country and as long as he keeps that up I'll be happy. Quote Link to comment
C N Red
It's tough to tell from the angle of the picture, but if he's 6'2 then he's definitely taller than Carl by a bit. I'm 6'0 and I met Carl last year at the big 12 champ game. He had to be at the tallest 5'8-5'9. Carl is not a big guy. Quote Link to comment
Overland Park Husker
Why does it look like he wears an over sized helmet? I swear his helmet is about 5 sizes too big. Quote Link to comment
huskernumerouno
He is HUGE, when it comes to what he brings to the table on Saturdays. Quote Link to comment
