Blackshirt316
Lets just say that it's a 35 point spread and still a very easy pick to cover. Idaho kinda scares me a little bit as a potential uh-oh game (not a loss of course but one we scratch our heads over a little) WKU... not so much. Quote Link to comment
redout22
I am sure Michigan was not afraid at all of Appalachian State as well....gotta prepare the same as you would against top teams. I am hoping that the starters can get some good rest and have some of the young guys in there. Quote Link to comment
NUBackInBlack38
One thing i've learned in watching/playing the many years of football is NEVER count the other team out, it's whoever shows up on gameday that decides the outcome. WKU has it stacked against them that's for sure. But i just think people doing like NU 105-0 WKU is just ridiculous..lol Quote Link to comment
Malth
Do you guys ever feel bad for these early season cupcake teams after we rack up 92 points on them? And they score 0? Quote Link to comment
HuskerMoon
Do you guys ever feel bad for these early season cupcake teams after we rack up 92 points on them? And they score 0? I don't really feel bad. The School is duely compensated by a check with lots of Zero's on it. Quote Link to comment
Malth
duly And I guess I'm referring more to the kids. They don't get paid, they just get embarrassed. Quote Link to comment

Do yourself a favor and go find one of the players that have played against us, or Texas, or Florida, or USC, or Notre Dame, or Ohio State, etc, etc, etc. Ask them if we should feel bad for them, or if they had a blast playing the game. I'll get right on that Look, I'm sure the kids don't care if we feel bad for them or not, and that they enjoy playing the game, but I don't see how getting beat by 60 points on national TV isn't going to be rather demoralizing. We've all seen players commit stupid penalties late in a game where they're getting completely whipped, and it's because the frustration sooner or later is gonna get to you. Anyway, Go Big Red. Final score prediction: Nebraska: 72 W Kentucky: (negative) 10 Quote Link to comment
