Neb - Wash TV coverage

Recommended Posts

Im wondering how the tv coverage works for the 3:30 slot this weekend-

There's three games going for two channels:

Alabama-Duke (ABC regional or gameplan)

Nebraska-Washington (ABC-ESPN2 or gameplan)

Wisconsin Arizona State (ABC-ESPN)

Also it says that WIS-ASU and NEB-WASH are the 'mirror reverse mirror' games.

WILL I be able to see our game on tv out here on the east coast?

I need an explanation....Thanks

you should get it. the region gets the regional game, and the others are on the espn channels.

Shoot I meant that the Wisc-ASU game was either ABC or ESPN2. NOT Espn. Not sure if that changes anything... Also what regional game do u think the PA/NJ area gets on ABC..?? Hopefully not bama-duke

Ok thanks again

I think the coverage map comes out tomorrow...not too sure though.

Here's what I don't get. Last week the ISU-Iowa game was on ABC here (in Iowa). ESPN2 should have been Oklahoma-FSU, right? But it wasn't. It was blacked out. So I had no way (other than Gameplan) of seeing the OU game. I'm assuming it will be the same with this Nebraska game? Which means Gameplan and no HD?

Unfortunately this is not correct. Minnesota-USC is on ESPN. That leaves 3 games for 2 channels. There are 3 possibilities for ABC/ESPN2 depending on which region you are in. I don't think regional coverage maps are out yet.

1) Neb-Was on ABC, Wisc-ASU on ESPN2, Bama-Duke on gameplan

2) Wisc-ASU on ABC, Neb-Wash on ESPN2, Bama-Duke on gameplan

3) Bama-Duke on ABC, Wisc-ASU on ESPN2, Neb-Wash only on gameplan

We are out in the last case because Big 10 is by contract either on ABC or ESPN2.

I would guess that PA/NJ is Big 10 country and will be scenario 2. For me in VA, I'm guessing we'll get Duke-Bama and I'm SOL, relegated to an SD PPV viewing on Dish, or more likely for me, ESPN3 online.

I use these two sites to see which games are on TV each week:

It was blacked on on ESPN2HD but I got it on analog ESPN2, make sure you check that on the "mirror reverse" time slots
