bshirt
Major league props to Lee for hacking a brutally tough game with no mistakes. He really saved our bacon and had some nice runs too. THANK YOU Zac!! Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
A trooper, absolute trooper. He is definitely writing his legacy at Nebraska in what little he has done. It's not what you do, it's how you do what you do. Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
Zac played a good second half when we needed him too. The pass to Kyler on 3rd and 2 was a huge play nice to know we have depth and if someone goes down we can still be ok. Quote Link to comment
jkstlrnu1
Major props to Z. Lee. Kid couldve tanked it this year after being told he was no longer the starter, but he kept his head up & kept working hard to do whats best for the team. Great character. Quote Link to comment
The Snork
Yup yup! Kudos again Zac. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
A nice weapon to have in your pocket for a rainy day. Experience and presence. I still feel bad for this guy. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
I still say he was not 100% healthy at the time of Washington, Kstate etc. His lack of playing time early in the year in blowouts but now twice in 3 weeks in very important situations cant be explained otherwise to me. dutch91701
Zac Lee's a good dude. He's been mature about getting played (or not played) behind Martinez and he comes in and is able to run the offense in the absence of our starter. Big thanks to Zac. Quote Link to comment
California Husker
Zack took a lot of heat on this board last year, but I got to say that he has handled the back-up role with absolute class. And, I am thrilled to have him there to come in when something happens to Martinez. In a way he has kinda reminded me of Beringer a little. Quote Link to comment
MCAT800
Yea, Zach did a great job handing off the ball Quote Link to comment
Malth
I wouldn't say say he made no mistakes (he almost threw a pick), but having him with his senior mojo ready to come in for Tmart is a very good thing. I have the utmost confidence in him, and we can still win games when he's playing. Quote Link to comment

Maybe. I kind of feel like Cody Green played himself out of the competition. Kudos to Zach. Having an experienced senior QB that can come in and manage things is a huge benefit. I don't have a way to know but I bet the guys in the huddle have a lot of respect for him. Quote Link to comment

California Husker
Okay, so for those of you who obviously didn't watch the game, Lee didn't only hand the ball off. He ran the offence including a few very effective qb runs out of the zone read. Sure, he is not even close to the athelete that Martinez is. But, he is a senior, and he does have experience so it's not like having to run some kid (or Green) out there. I'm just saying, he has handled the situation with class and I'm glad to have him there on the depth chart. 3 Quote Link to comment
Landlord
I wouldn't say say he made no mistakes (he almost threw a pick) Is a bad throw the same thing as a mistake? Not saying it is or isn't, I don't think it is, but I could see how someone might think so. Okay, so for those of you who obviously didn't watch the game, Lee didn't only hand the ball off.
