BIGREDIOWAN
Wow he was pretty calm in that interview. I'm amazed me too........... Quote Link to comment
FLU
If we score anymore points in this game I'll be amazed. Quote Link to comment
nebraskared
If they send Green out again, i'm seriously going to have a fit Who exactly are they gonna put it instead? Martinez on a bum ankle would be better. Who is the back up to the back up? Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
Throwin Bones and irafreak.............either discuss the game or take it to the woodshead. We were discussing the game and irafreak's inability to show a little sensitivity about a player's injury. I know that this game is not going well -- but what is your problem? No you both started to escalate the situation and then you said you don't respect him or something to that effect. I can see how it's going..............my problem? I don't have a problem, it's my job to keep the peace. Discussions over. I think you're delusional. I made 1 post about it and you jumped on my case. This is a good board, too bad one of the moderators is on a power trip. I'll head back to Huskers Illustrated. bye Quote Link to comment
Malth
I don't expect Martinez to come back anytime soon from that injury. Why we don't hand off to our RBs and have him throw it is beyond me, I will never understand it. Absolutely awful decision by Watson or whoever the hell. We will need a miracle to win this, our D can't hold them forever. Green has damn near fumbled already and those side screens will lead to a pick 6 sooner or later. just stop already. that injury has nothing to do with watson Yeah nothing does does it? Who calls the plays? Who should sack up and tell Martinez not to run it if he's not fully healthy? Watson is responsible for nothing I guess huh? Made the same mistake he made against Missouri with a 24 point lead... let our most valuable offensive player run and run and run till he gets hurt. HATERS HATIN' Nice comeback, really proved your point. Owned. Please. Our offensive lineman got pushed back and stepped on his ankle. This has nothing to do with whether or not he was going to run the ball or not. It's a freak injury. I really don't give a sh#t if you hate Watson, but putting this on your WHY I HATE WATSON resume is ridiculous. Which is what makes you a hater that's hatin. Quote Link to comment
papersun87
@Huskers: Total yards at halftime - NU 153 (100 pass, 53 rush), TAMU 103 (59 pass, 44 rush) Quote Link to comment
Enhance
I am embarrassed by our offense right now. Truly embarrassed. It shouldn't matter if Martinez is in or not. The offensive line should NOT be getting pushed around as bad they are. If Nebraska wants to reach their ultimate season goal of the Big 12 title game, they have to keep this in perspective and come out and play fiery in the second half. ALSO, Crick was clearly held on the last A&M drive of the half (at least, I think it was Crick). Either way, we are getting nailed right now on calls not going our way. Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
3-3 halftime. Man, this is not what I'd envisioned. No kidding. I was thinking it would be a repeat of the OkSt game... Quote Link to comment
Hercules
If they send Green out again, i'm seriously going to have a fit Who exactly are they gonna put it instead? Yeah, seriously. You're asking for Ron Kellogg or Latravis Washington? We'd have to be a bit more desperate for this to happen, considering neither have taken a snap this year. Watson has called a pretty good game so far that I've seen. We have not executed though. You make the best of what you have to work with. Right now what we can work on is not having so many dang OL penalties. Can we stop with the defending Watson? When Denard Robinson goes out, Michigan still produces. When Darren Thomas goes out, Oregon still produces. Without Martinez, our offense looks like last year's offense. Pathetic. 1 Quote Link to comment
maskershake
What was bo talking to Taylor about? Quote Link to comment
I am I
I don't care what anyone says, watson has his best player hurt and he's not calling plays for his 2-4th best players. run the f'ing ball with a TE and FB now...watson, you f'ing suck. you suck and unless your boys are hitting home runs, you look 2nd rate. FLU
At this point, going to the Big 12 Championship might not be such a good thing. Do you really want to play OSU or Oklahoma without a healthy Martinez? Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
Watson isn't hurting the team right now it's penalties and dropped passes. The refs must be getting a bonus at the end of the year for whoever throws the most flags at Nebraska Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
ALSO, Crick was clearly held on the last A&M drive of the half (at least, I think it was Crick). Either way, we are getting nailed right now on calls not going our way. It definitely was. I saw it clear as day, too. Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
What was bo talking to Taylor about? I believe it was his saving with Geico. He's just a bit firey when it comes to savings:) Quote Link to comment
