huKSer
Had to go to the Big Ten blogger for Nebraska - #3 behind OS and Whisky Is the change over now? No lunch links on NU by Ubben. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Was just about to post the same thing! 3. Nebraska: There likely will be an adjustment period for the Huskers, but the Pelini-led defense makes Nebraska an immediate Big Ten title contender. Quarterback Taylor Martinez will face better defenses in the Big Ten than he did in the Big 12, but if he recaptures his form from the first half of 2010, look out. A brutal schedule does Nebraska no favors, but the Huskers have an immediate opportunity to distinguish themselves. http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/22359/early-2011-big-ten-power-rankings Quote Link to comment

ESPY
Here's the link to ESPN's B1G power rankings. Don't you just love that the 3 teams we don't face are #8 (Illinois), #10 (Purdue) and #12 (Indiana) on this list? This is gonna fun. Quote Link to comment

Not necessarily........unless of course Watson is still calling the shots. Then yes, I agree. OK, that's enough about QBs from me for this thread. IMO #4-7 (MSU, PSU, NWU) and #9 (MU) are gonna be very tough games for us. The wildcard sorta teams could cause some a few bumps on our road. Quote Link to comment

ESPY
At first I was actually pretty surprised to see OSU at the #1 spot simply based on the suspensions. And now after another look, I'm still surprised because their 1st 5 games aren't pushovers by any means. Akron and Toledo will be easy, and Colorado probably will too (but you never know what you'll get against them). But Miami and Michigan State will pose a threat to any team, let alone one with such key players out of the picture. Quote Link to comment
huskerscott
Let's hope that Martinez doesn't get hurt again otherwise look out we are in deep sh#t. It doesnt matter who the QB is.... we are gonna struggle. Call me a Debbie Downer but I see atleast 3-4 losses right off the bat. Plus theirs is gonna be 1 or 2 games we absolutely lay an egg against a team we should beat, going with the trend the last 2 years. So Im guessing next year we head the Ticket City Bowl against Baylor. Atleast its on the bright side its a News Years Day bowl.... wait uhhhhh the BigTen has 5 bowl games on that day. SuperBuckFan08
How do you guy feel about the #3 ranking in the conference? Do you feel you should be higher/lower/stay the same? Or do you feel you need a full years crash course of actually playing in the conference to really get a full grasp? Quote Link to comment
GM_Tood
Pre-season rankings..meh. Where was Okie Lite ranked "pre-season" last season? Quote Link to comment
SuperBuckFan08
If by Okie Lite you mean Ohio State then if I recall correctly, top 5 nationally I believe and 1 or 2 in the conference. Quote Link to comment
