fishnfrank
As we all remember, Eric Crouch was FAST and he had the moves. Now we all know that Martinez is fast, but I have a friend who is a Wolverines fan and says Robinson is faster. Who do you think wins the foot race between these two? Quote Link to comment
ADS
Martinez, but Denard is no slouch either in the speed category. Quote Link to comment
BaytownHusker
I would love to go with T Mart but I think D. Rob passes him.. Quote Link to comment
Saunders
At what distance?? Quote Link to comment
knapplc
At what distance?? Ha! I was just coming to post this. I think Shoelace is faster on a short burst, but longer distances I'd probably go with Marty. Hard to say until we see them race side-by-side at halftime of the game in November. I think they're racing for pink slips - winner gets the other team's QB. Quote Link to comment

BaytownHusker
Tm's 40 time - 4.5 Â Dr's 40 time - 4.33 100 meter - 10.44. Â Sorry I dont see TM being faster then D. Rob. Quote Link to comment

darkhorse85
I wouldn't mind seeing Daniel Davie line up next to either of them. Quote Link to comment

No 40 times in college are accurate. I remember reading a couple of years ago that Helu was timed running a mid 4.2 in spring ball. We all know that's not true.  I voted Martinez. Watching highlights of them both, Robinson is lightyears ahead of Martinez in "wiggle", but Martinez is a touch faster in long speed. Quote Link to comment

I ran a handheld 4.59 in HS, but that doesn't really mean squat. Realistically, I was in the 4.75+ range... + Quote Link to comment

It's when a guy can run that consistently that it matters. I remember running the odd 40 time that was a tenth or two faster than the usual. Quote Link to comment
HotGrillonGrillAction
Legate would beat them both. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
A foot race I'd love to see. I don't agree with the comment about Robinson having the quicker burst. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone reach top speed as fast as Taylor Martinez. Quote Link to comment
