OH HSKR FAN
This is regards to the 330 games. Say the noon games run longer than their time allowance? Will Husker nation miss the first half of the 1st quarter if they are playing at 330ET? I wonder if the BTN will have the start of any 330 games on any of the overflow channels if one of the other noon games end early? Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
If this mean less ppv I will take the trade off ........ it would be nice if over flow can start the game because is sucks to miss the start. Quote Link to comment
huskerscott
They will probably just switch the game over in the local area, no different than ESPN/ABC. For example if your in Nebraska you will get to see the start of the game.... unless its the Holiday Bowl 2009, but atleast the game before it was really good. Sometimes the kickoff time will be delayed by a few minutes because of the previous game going on. Im sure they know exactly how to handle it. Quote Link to comment
In the Deed the Glory
I feel like I saw this last year and they did the overflow. Any B1G veterans care to elaborate? Quote Link to comment
HuskerT
If this mean less ppv I will take the trade off Couldn't agree more! I think that's the best part of leaving that crappy conference. Those horrible ppv broadcasts were a slap in the face to my beautiful HDtv. Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
Aren't there overflow channels for all the games including what's on the "main" channel? I assume those overflow channels do not overlap games. Quote Link to comment

I gots me 2 BTN overflow channels @ 4.95 per month here in KS. Four months (football season) x 4.95 = $19.80 <<<< $40 for a pay per view Quote Link to comment
JackTalkThai
Coming from someone who has watched the BTN since its' inception, I can promise you that Husker fans won't miss a single minute of Nebraska football this year on the BTN. Quote Link to comment
BGREDSTUCKN IA
I have four big ten overflow channels here in IA, and there will never be too many B1G games starting at once to not be handled by the network. Quote Link to comment
Creed
I am not sure about BTN but it happens all the time on my local ABC channel. A horrible noon game that is a blowout runs long and they don't switch over until the end. Grant it, you don't miss much or any of the 3:30 game but it is still aggravating. Quote Link to comment

I'll never forget missing the first 5 minutes of the beat down we gave Arizona. That game between Idaho st. and some other who gives a crap school almost had me throwing stuff at my tv.. It just wouldn't end. Quote Link to comment

TopekaHUSKER15
I had Big Ten network last year and they will for sure put it on one of the overflow channels until the primary (HD for some) channel opens up Quote Link to comment
HuskerinHouston
1400 lincoln had the BTN President on this morning. This direct topic was discussed if you want to hear his answer. Question is addressed around the 6:00 - 7:30 minute mark. http://www.klin.com/topic/play_window.php?audioType=Episode&audioId=5450050 In short, if a game goes long (Iowa game this weekend) the network will turn the game on within the region of the home team state for the next game. (nu game would turn on in Nebraska, the rest of the nation is a question mark on what we would see) I would assume they might put the game on a overflow channel. Quote Link to comment
NUance
If the first game is a tight contest BTN won't switch away from it. Heidi told me so. Quote Link to comment
