Lyons in the Sea of Red.
What am I missing on flyovers? I just don't get the fascination. I understand their value in regards to training but what gets people so amped over seeing some planes? IMHO, Rotary Wing flyovers are much more impressive. Even then, I tend to yawn at the idea. I dont know about others, but seeing a machine capable of traveling at nearly Mach 2 and perform with such agility, makes me like a kid. So much power and thrust. Quote Link to comment

It'sNotAFakeID
I was walking towards class when one flew over hamilton (for those of us who know campus) and banked a hard left...everyone was just looking up...some covered their ears...i stood there like a kid. Interrupted one of my lectures during class too haha Quote Link to comment
ZRod
Driving downtown everyone is just staring up or hanging out their car window, I predict stiff necks and good business for the body shops today. As for why people like fly overs, it's exactly what Sea of Red said it just makes you feel like a kid again! What's the over/under on Bo passing out/puking? Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Which one is Bo in? Quote Link to comment
The Dude
They've been flying around all day. My kid and I were out watching and they flew really low right over our heads. Thought I got a shot of a lifetime, but in a rush my thumb was over the camera lens. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Bo is riding with the Angels today, I'm jealous that my buddy gets to film it from another plane. I wonder if Bo is thinking like this Quote Link to comment
huskrplaya
Couple of my pictures I took on campus. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Those are nice pics, Playa! Apparently the Blue Angels were thirsty on their way to Lincoln. Good thing the NEANG was there to give them a drink. CLICK ME Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Fair warning for those on campus and downtown - near as I can tell, they just fueled up the Blue Angels again. There are dudes walking around the planes, but I can't tell if they're doing preflight or just looking. But those were definitely fuel trucks that headed over there. Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
I really hope they take off before my class at 1:30. I barely got to see one yesterday. Stupid colllege. Quote Link to comment
