GM_Tood
“I hope there’s not 8,000 Nebraska people, but there probably will be. They’re coming, and they’re going to scalp tickets and get in here.” see Notre Dame 2000 Should be a fun atmosphere most definitely! Quote Link to comment
The Virginian
Hey, more money in our coffers. Can't be all bad. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I'm surprised they consider this their biggest home game ever. Nothing on the line here. If Wyoming wins, it means nothing for their season. I would think a conference game with the championship on the line, or a game with a potential bowl bid, would be bigger. Weird. GSG
Hey, more money in our coffers. Can't be all bad. Did they have additional seating for Texas in 2009? If so, do you know where there are some pictures from the game that show these extra seats? I'm curious as to how the fit them in considering there isn't a ton of room in in the endzones or anywhere else. Edit: Never mind. I found a video that showed it. Quote Link to comment

I agree but a win over Nebraska would give them a huge burst of confidence and swagger that could carry them to a conference championship and bowl bid. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
A win over Nebraska would give the Cowboys an inside track towards the BCS National Championship Game. Quote Link to comment

irafreak
8000? Is that all? Quote Link to comment
GSG
8000? Is that all? Capacity is only 29,181. They'll add some additional seats in the end zones, but not a ton. Quote Link to comment

I don't care if Wyoming went undefeated the next three years. The big money boys would never let Wyoming sniff such a thing. Not enough eyeball and TV sets. Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
Maybe they'll overhype this game like we did against Texas last year. Quote Link to comment
Hoosker
Good for Wyo. I'm sure Laradice will be rockin! They played with Texas the other year so I don't want to underestimate them, but seriously.....it's going to be a bloodbath. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Maybe they'll overhype this game like we did against Texas last year. Maybe. I heard a rumor earlier that in some circles, this is considered the biggest home game in the school's history. Quote Link to comment

Yeah...this really isn't anything special. Their OC is calling it "the biggest game in program history.", which it clearly is not. The biggest game would be one that propels the program to greater heights, or sets them up to make a run nationally. Unfortunately, they'll probably lose 4+ games this year and this game doesn't have that much of an impact to it. Personally, I think they're setting themselves up for a let down. If they lose this game, and lose it in bad fashion, it could be a real season destroyer after using this mentality. Quote Link to comment
