walksalone
Establish the run game. The more we keep their D on the field, and ours off, the better it will be. There really shouldn't be a need to throw the ball more than a dozen times. (if i could spell, i'd be dangerous) Edited October 7, 2011 by walksalone Quote Link to comment
1/2fullhusker
A loud crowd disrupt their offense and allow our defense to make big plays.....And yell when they are in the huddle, not just when they break the huddle...... A heavy dose of rex, rex, rex, followed by play action to turner Quote Link to comment
308_Husker
We got away from running the ball with Burkhead during crucial parts of the game last week. Don't expect Beck to make that same mistake twice. I'm guessing Rex gets the ball 25 times at least. I think Dennard gets a takeaway this game. He's been relatively quiet since his comeback, and Miller, being a freshman, sometimes makes bad throws with the football. Lastly, take care of the football. Quote Link to comment
1/2fullhusker
I agree that Beck was a little premature with shutting rex down. I will also bet that we will see more screen passes to the flats..... I would also hope to see the ears pinned back on the blitzes, as OSU doesn't handle pressure well, and i see the pelinis taking advantage... Quote Link to comment

flatwaterfan
One thing about Taylor is that he doesn't seem to have a good feel for the pocket and will often flush out of the pocket away from his protection. Since he has a tendacy to do this I say roll the pocket. Cut the field down in half will make it easier for him to do reads. When they do have a standard pocket have him use the checkdown as the 2nd option! Eliminate penalties so we don't get behind the chains. Win the turnover battle. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
Stupid turnovers and penalties in the early downs need not appear for the Husker win. And for the record, Taylor will probably have to win this game with his arm. Any Defensive Coordinator in the nation could tell you that one. 1 Quote Link to comment
Blaze1up
Stop the run. Pat Hill said the Boise St. defensive front was much better then Nebraska's. With the talent Boise has it's incredible what they've accomplished. Quote Link to comment
bshirt
Run the freakin damn ball. GBR!! Quote Link to comment
huskered17
I think Beck will start to play to Martinez's strengths, shorter and quicker pass routes, Rex gets more touches, Reed more involved. I can't see this game as even being close. If it is, we have bigger problems then what we are aware of. imo GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
give the ball to Rex, TM hold on to the damn ball and don't throw more than 10 passes for the game. Quote Link to comment
Chaddyboxer
I wanna see some short balls to our playmakers. I hope TMart bounces back. I really want to see him succeed so all that haters can eat their words = ) lol. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
