Trendon
What's sad is that whoever might/will replace Pelini will do the same thing. The next guy at, say, Minnesota, will do the same thing. The next guy that coaches the Rams in the NFL will do the same thing. They'll hire OC's that do the same thing who coach with/against DC's who spend their whole lives devising ways to combat ... the same thing. It is truly startling. While the entire world of football has evolved, these f'ing people still stand close to what their granddaddy taught them. So, at the end of the day, we might as well play NCAA Football 12 on the PS3 or Xbox where the most talented players win except when there is a glitch. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
He can't blow out the team he coaches next year... Lol. Bo will be a DC real soon if this season goes anything like this game is going right now. Quote Link to comment

Haspula
We don't have the best coaches tbh. Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
Note to Bo for future employment don't hire high school buddies with no experience for supporting staff. Quote Link to comment
Husker Richard
We don't have the best coaches tbh. Agreed. Whoever makes the decision to put Cassidy on the field is out of their mind. We need a tackling coach whose sole job is to teach them how to tackle. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I can agree with some of this thread in reference to assistant coaches, but I don't think Bo's job is in jeopardy. Quote Link to comment

Bo made the decision to hire these schmucks now he has to live with it. His job absolutely. Is in jeopardy. Quote Link to comment

The Dude
What's frustrating is we had the momentum going into the half, then we had to get cute and hand it back before the half actually ended. Terrible game management by Bo. And it's becoming extremely tedious. I'm not in favor of changing coaches every couple years, that's about the worst thing you can do to a program. TO needs to sit him down and teach him how to manage a game. Quote Link to comment
irishhusker
Remember when we could count on openfield tackles? This is pure suck, I think this years D is going to give 07 a run for their money. Quote Link to comment
HuskerLover1
It probably is over. Though it's on the defense I hope they realize that with a poor defense your offense has to be able to score. I don't think they can fix the defense if they haven't by now so the offense will have to pull the slack. I don't think you know who can do that. Quote Link to comment
