Official Taylor Martinez is a boss - thread

I really like the way we adjusted some of the passing for this game. If some of you guys missed it, we often dropped Burkhead into the middle of the field as an easy check down for Martinez if his first or second read didn't come through. I think this REALLY helped Martinez gain confidence today.

I will say this..... this was best the game Martinez played in his career at Nebraska(including theOkie Lite game). It certainly does help to have an OC call plays to his Qbs strengths and managed the game.

I think our team found something tonight that we have been missing all season, I hope it carries over to Minnesota and beyond.

I wasn't so down on him last week, more of a complete team failure.

therefore, not to high on him this week either. while he and burkhead carried the team, some great plays by all 3 phases won the game tonight.

How about Jean-Baptiste?

How about Maher 50 yarder?

How about David making, without question the biggest play of the night stripping the ball?

How about Bell and Reed and Enunwa catching the ball?

last week: crap game by whole team

this week: entire team effort to pull it out (in record fashion nonetheless)

I will be happy to eat crow when it comes to Taylor. He actually impressed me a great deal tonight. Thank you Taylor for proving me wrong. Also, I think the game ball goes to the team for showing an amazing amount of heart tonight.

Also, I was reading the game thread tonight but chose not to post. I just have to say that so many comments were just rediculous, from "Bo has given up" to "Bo doesn't want to beat the team he will be coaching next year." Seriously? I may have doubted Martinez's potential, but WOW is all I can say.

Taylor, Rex, Lavonte and the rest of the team, my hat goes off to you. Enjoy the win, and to the haters, by NO means is the season over. This team is still capable of great things.

Finally, that is why I never quit watching the game even if we lose big, I could have missed the biggest come back in Husker history. Sucks to be those who did.
