Nexus
Keep an eye out for redshirt freshman defensive tackle Jay Guy, who Pelini said will travel this week and could see meaningful snaps. “He’s come a long way,” Pelini said. We feel like the future’s bright for Jay and we’re not afraid to put him in the game.” LINK DT Jay Guy is making the move from the scout team to the D-line rotation with Jared Crick out for the season. “Our offensive guys think a lot of Jay,” Bo Pelini said Thursday. “We’re not afraid to put him in the game.” Guy, a redshirt freshman, has yet to appear in a game at Nebraska. panhandle husker
kind of scary when a guy that has already been redshirted is moved from scout team to travel squad Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
This is a guy I have been hoping to see since he stepped foot on campus. He is a big guy and could be a force if he uses it like Suh did. Quote Link to comment
DSMHusker1
kind of scary when a guy that has already been redshirted is moved from scout team to travel squad RS last year. RS Frosh this year. It certainly can't hurt any defensive stats if he plays. Quote Link to comment
GMoose
I'd like to see him develop as a nose tackle. I'd say that's the the position his frame supports especially considering all the 3-4 looks we're using this year. Quote Link to comment

Same here...I could see him as our NT in the 3-4 that we have been running some. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
Looking forward to seeing him play. I will say as much as it sucks to not have Jaded out there, there is a ton of good energy being put toward next season. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Good for Jay, sounds like he has been working his ass off in practice and it has payed off. I have high hopes for the kid. Quote Link to comment
