The Red & White Knight
WOAH Granted I didn't see last weeks game due to traveling... But, wow, I'm impressed. Such poise and confidence and good decision making. Way to be, Taylor. Yes it's only half time, but, this is the best I've seen him play I think. PS: Nebraska just scored 10-0 with 44 sec in the first half! Quote Link to comment
donesman
For sure! With how crappy the O-Line has played he has alot of poise. I've even seen him check down receivers a few times. Alot of improvement indeed! Quote Link to comment

mnhusker
Martinez did a great job leading the Offense today. Quote Link to comment
irafreak
He appears to have turned the corner. Something has clicked because he his looking solid. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
Yes, another Martinez thread. I was a doubter but over the past few weeks, he has played very well. Aside from Burkhead, he has been a shining spot on the offense (and QB is a great position to have a shining spot). He's obviously a good runner and his ability to find an open man has improved. Martinez pass completions would be better if the receivers would just catch the ball. I'm tired of our receiving core dropping so many passes. If it hits your hands, you make the catch. Period. I am really talking about one player specifically, who has consistently dropped the ball all season long. Sorry, blocking is great, but if a WR cannot catch the ball, they shouldn't be on the field. Especially considering it appears Beck is interested in running an offense in which the pass game is heavily involved. Quote Link to comment
melscott62
was just going to post this..... he has matured so much. he even is doing well in the option. and hes JUST A SOPHOMORE. He is only going to get better. Quote Link to comment
SnowBigRed
Martinez has been a much better game manager this year, which is good to see. However, it seems to me like he has lost a step a little bit this year in terms of speed and explosiveness. Maybe I'm wrong. Quote Link to comment
