Do they teach driver's ed at UNL? Maybe they should consider it....

Pretty simple....................."see that cow over there?" "jump on her and hold on!" Duh................... chuckleshuffle

Ah...I see the Wisconsin curriculum is getting around...

Obviously if we have guys getting arrest for R.U.I. (riding under the influence.) Damn Leinenkugels!

Made me think of this...

Men Ride Horses Into Bar, SAFEWAY, STARBUCKS, Before Being Tasered By Police...

Also tractors don't go fast enough for someone to lose control.

jsneb, I just thought I'd let you know that the gif in your sig is the exact same tempo as the song "Porn Star Dancing".

Apparently $2000 worth of damage was done to the other car. $500 to Martin's car. 18 year old girl in Martin's car said they didn't think any damage was done. Witness said Martin backed into the car, looked around and drove off. It's a class II misdemeanor, could result in 6 months of jail time or a $1000 fine.

I love how the press puts this in every story as if it's a real possibility in this case. The vast majority of people who are found guilty of this don't see a second of jail time. As if society needs to be protected from a guy who tapped another car with his bumper.

A non injury accident, alcohol not involved ( no mention), I would hope not. Hopefully some extra stairs.

Coincidence these to happened when the staff was off recruiting? GA's not keeping close tabs.

Most definitely need to be strolling the Wally World parking lot. That's what they're paid for right?

Huh?

He means how the hell do you keep tabs on every player at all times? You think a player should have a GA following him to WalMart and watching him back out?

You guys missed the point. More of the old adage "while the cats away the mice will play". Just an example of Bo and his influence. Practice reports say the GA's have been running practice while the coaches are away recruiting. It is a logical conclusion to believe the kids might "let down" as the coaching staff is tied up.

No where in the post did I even infer the GA's needed to watch the players.

Not keeping close tabs definitely infers needing to watch the players. And going to WalMart isn't mice at play. It was a simple driving mishap, followed by either an honest mistake or poor judgement. I don't think the thought process was "Bo's gone, I can get away with this."

$2000 worth of damage? Was it a solid gold bumper?

And $500 worth of damage to a '97 Olds Aurora? If you can drive that car away from an accident, I'm pretty sure you didn't do $500 worth of damage to it.

Just having the garage door go up at a repair place will probably cost you that much......................

You know how manufacturers now "hide" things to make it difficult to "fix" them..........................I had to have the right wheel and fender removed to have a shop "get" to the battery....................no b.s..................

My car has to have the wheel removed to get to the battery, too. And just to change spark plugs costs $250, because they have to remove the whole top of the back side of the engine. Smaller cars are a double-edge sword. You get better gas mileage, but your repair costs are through the roof.

And modern bumpers are made of plastic and promises, not metal, and to replace them costs hundreds of dollars. It's a total scam. They make them fragile on purpose so they'll get totaled in an accident and your repair costs go sky-high.
