kchusker_chris
I don't follow the schedule too closely, but I can't remember having an open date this close to season in a long time. What's the holdup here? Schedule some patsy, pay em 750k and move on. Quote Link to comment

I'm guessing "Patsy" knows she has D-1 teams by the shorthairs and won't be bought off with 750 K anymore......................they are ironically holding some serious cards in this negotiation............. knapplc
At this point, how many teams even have open dates that they could fill with a trip to Lincoln? There can't be that many. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Baylor does, IIRC. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Baylor does. I thought we didn't want to schedule D2 teams anymore? I know, I know, they just had a Heisman trophy winner and a better record than us. It's still fun to pick on Baylor. Quote Link to comment
krill
Inevitably it will be filled by an FCS squad...our non-conference scheduling the past few years has been terrible. 1 Quote Link to comment

Enhance
Nebraska's non-con schedule still isn't as consistently bad as Wisconsin's every year. 1 Quote Link to comment
