knapplc
Bo called and he'd like me to be on the side lines and call the defense for the second half of the game. I'm not sure If I'm going to do it or not. I'm worried about how the OWH would view my coaching ability. I usually buy 2 tickets and the recruiting dinner. Some years I make it others I give them away. Its a good cause and a great chance for people to get close to the program. You are the OFFENSIVE Coordinator. You can't call defense. If you don't pitch a shut out, you could be ripped to shreds....lol * Just screw Barney up and bring the house during the spring game Quote Link to comment
teachercd
If you are not sure about going, go! It is a blast, get down there early, drink, go to the game for like maybe the first half, then go drink Quote Link to comment

And just remember that it is NOT a football game, and is not intended to be a football game. The absolute best thing about the Spring Game is the tailgating, as if you were at a real game. Can't beat that. Quote Link to comment

Jaybird
I ordered a few tickets for myself and a group of friends. I am pretty excited to see what some of the young guys can do. Hope the weather cooperates! Has anyone gotten their tickets yet or heard when they are supposed to be going out? Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Spring game ticket sales are down from years past. Spring Game ticket update Don't know if the April 14 Red-White Spring Game will draw as many fans as last year's game, er, scrimmage (66,784). But ticket sales are off to a good start. Approximately 25,000 tickets had been purchased as of Tuesday morning, according to Nebraska assistant athletic director Keith Mann. More than 20,000 tickets were sold this past Wednesday, the first day tickets were available. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
I haven't been to a spring game in probably 8 to 10 years, but I'm really pressing hard to try to go this year. Me and my dad always used to go to the first half of the spring game and then walk over to Haymarket and watch the baseball game. Too bad it's an away game this year... Quote Link to comment
1Huskernation
Got a question maybe someone can help me with...I haven't been to a spring game in a LOOOOONG time, so can someone tell me if they print out actual tickets similar to real game tickets? I'm thinking of buying one just to collect, as I will not be able to attend. But, if its some generic or raffle style ticket, I'll pass. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
It's reasonably generic. Nothing collectible about it, in my opinion. Quote Link to comment
