The Dude
Check out the two receivers lined up outside of Bell. That's worse than Rex running the wrong way on an option in last year's opener. Quote Link to comment
lionsfan93
That was actually a great play on their part! The coached raved about how great of a play that was. It was supposed to be a run and that's why Allen and Turner are on the line. But Martinez saw a mismatch with Bell and the defender. So he called an audible. If either of those two guys went down field it would have been a penalty. Heads up play by those two! Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
Recent article says that Turner needed to not move for the play to be legal. So, actually a heady play by the wideouts. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
That's awesome. I thought my TV was on the fritz or something. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Can't say I've seen anything like that before. Great result though! Quote Link to comment
HuskerT
That's cool, I've watched the game three times now and never even noticed that. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Recent article says that Turner needed to not move for the play to be legal. So, actually a heady play by the wideouts. Pretty good coaching by Fish. Shows the guys are actually learning and more importantly translating it from practice to the game. Quote Link to comment

This group of WR's are looking good so far. Quote Link to comment
Bradr
Also, if you watch the play, right after the audible, both players immediately look to the sideline and Fish is yelling a them to stay put. Quote Link to comment
JTrain
The outside receiver Allen could have gone downfield, but probably wasn't sure so he just stayed in along with Turner. They didn't have to stand like manikins, but I guess the position coach just yelled "freeze." Pretty funny... probably a bit confusing for those cornerbacks too. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Glad we have it on film. Next time we can pump fake to Bell and set up an outside screen. Someone get Tim Beck on the phone. 2 Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
Taylor also had a wide open #82 Wullenwaber on the other side of the endzone as well. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
What's more amazing is how Taylor was able to drop that ball right where Bell needed with 4 defenders in the area. Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
That play was damn sexy. Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
Haha....That was great. Watching the game in regular speed I didn't even see it. Quote Link to comment
