Eric the Red
Well they say you make the biggest improvement between the first and second game. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Well, I didn't expect that to happen so fast. Quote Link to comment
redout22
I didn't drink any Kool-Aid tonight, which is a pre-game tradition, so I take full responsibility about what happened tonight. Quote Link to comment
Hooked on Huskers
Based on other teams for opening games: Wyo - W (whew) S.Miss - W UCLA - L SDSU - W (previous game hangover thus closer than you think) Illinois - W @Purdue - W (barely) @Minnesota - W (still Minny) Northwestern - L @Michigan - L Michigan St - ??? Huggybear
Going to need plenty of this. Quote Link to comment
huskerswrkhavoc
Unfortunately I see the Kool Aid flowing a few places still because "a win is a win" Quote Link to comment
The King
Still on the kool-aid. At least we didn't suck because we were doing the right things and just couldn't make the play. They'll learn, in time. You're also joking yourself if you think this defense will look the same come conference play. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Unfortunately I see the Kool Aid flowing a few places still because "a win is a win" How terrible that Husker fans are still cheering for their team. Quote Link to comment

So... because someone hurt your feelings, you get to bitch at every fan still supporting the team? Who was "throwing F bombs?" Where? Quote Link to comment
huskerswrkhavoc
So... because someone hurt your feelings, you get to bitch at every fan still supporting the team? Who was "throwing F bombs?" Where? First off, I have gone through 2 threads on this board. I read and see plenty of other things elsewhere. Second, my feelings aren't hurt at all and I'm not complaining at anyone. I said unfortunately some people are still drinking the kool aid. That's my opinion. The beauty of this world? I can have that. But great use of language on a family board, Mr. Mod. Goal-line
The Kool aid rush has ended You are absolutely correct! Based on what I saw last night, we are in for one hell of a disappointing season. Sad, truly sad! I wonder if the AD got any emails last night and today from supporters and big boosters? Ya think? You realize that nobody here would have the slightest idea what you're talking about when you do that, right? And what "great use of language" are you talking about? Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Well they say you make the biggest improvement between the first and second game. I remember trying to convince myself this cliche is true before the UCLA game last year. Quote Link to comment
