Bye Week Observations

3. Mich St's O is still terrible. D is carrying them still. Up 14-0 on Purdue right now with 4 min left in game. 1 of the TD's came from D and their O has only been in the redzone once all game (used a trick play to score).

Just for perspective, Michigan St.'s offense outscored Purdue's offense by seven points.

Michigan St.'s defense scored as many as their offense for about the third time this year.

The SEC is overrated as hell, but their teams will stay in the top 25 with multiple losses, such a freaking joke.

Florida will drop to 25. South Carolina to 15. Missouri moves into top 10. Georgia to 20. Vanderbilt and Tennessee move into top 25. Just finding ways to get all those teams ranked...

Michigan State and Nebraska stay unranked most likely also with their only losses to ranked teams, but we play in the Blob Ten.

Despite a very weak showing by their conference this year, they put a record number of teams in the AP Top 25 this week. A testament to their teams being ranked no matter how they do. Cellar dweller beat a team? Rank 'em. It's a joke. As someone said the other day, Missouri and A&M's rise to prominence tells just how overblown that whole conference is.

The only question is how do we keep Auburn in if they lose to A&M. We could drop Florida to 24 and drop Auburn to 25...

If a 3 loss UGA stays in the top 25 that is complete BS. Our only loss to a top 10 ten and we will drop because of the bye week.

SEC love fest makes me want to puke. Would love to see the Ducks hang 75 on Bama and call it a day.

Yep, no way UGA or UF fall out. Even though MIzzou moved up like 10 spots, no way the SEC drops 2 teams out.

Watched some of the Northwestern vs. Minnesota game. That game had the look and feel of a High School game. The play was ragged by both teams. The stadium is so small. The announcers added to it... but it just had a feel like a high school game. Neither team looks very good at all. NU should roll them both. That said, the big DL for the Gophers looks really good and could be a force. Minnesota runs pretty well but NU should have little difficulty with either team.
