presidentjlh
Also, youth ain't a damn excuse. There are no excuses for this sh#t. Um, yes, yes it is. Look at teams like Bama, and Oregon. They have plenty of youth every so often, and they don't have an off season, they reload. Great programs don't need to rebuild, and hell, we haven't even built anything to begin with. Scratchtown
Onward to the who gives a sh#t bowl. Well it may be vs Oklahoma in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. That would be awesome! But it's still the Buffalo F'ing Wild Wings Bowl, which is a f'ing joke. At least its winnable which is way more important. Would you rather us go to the Cap one or Outback and get killed by an SEC team....AGAIN. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
While I agree the defense played well today given the 5 turnovers, they didn't play great in my mind. They gave up way too many big plays on 3rd and long, and I don't believe they got a single turnover themselves. To win tough games, the D needs to come up with some big plays themselves. Army_Allen
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the defense totally folds. That's just great. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if Stanton beats-out Armstrong in the Fall. Stanton, I think, is a better passer He's a better runner too. The guy is a truck. A more shifty Tebow (running) with way better passing. So, if I'm reading that correctly...you just said he's a better version of arguably the best college qb ever? No he's more shifty than Tebow, not a stretch as Tebow plowed guys over. I never said a better runner. But yes Tebow as a freshman wasn't near the passer Stanton is. Plus When you can dump off drags and screens to Percy all game, you're gonna look good. Quote Link to comment

I'd rather we not stoop to such a line of thought where we would rather be mediocre and go to a mediocre sh#t bowl (and, come on, you think we'd beat Oklahoma?) than at least have a slight chance at a conference title. That is how programs die. Quote Link to comment
Jason Sitoke
At the risk of passing out the sour grapes...MSU is very unimpressive. The defense is above average. Running game is average. The qb was the best part of their team because he bailed out several drives with poised 3 rd down throws. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
I don't put this loss on the coaching staff (like so many other losses). The defense played well, and the offense simply turned the ball over too much (24 pts off turnovers). With that said, it will be yet another season that Bo does not win a championship, and because of all the other ugly losses in past seasons, I think it's time for him to start packing. We need some fresh coaching blood in Lincoln, from top to bottom. I would agree with you if this was an anomaly, but Bo's teams are sloppy. Multiple TO games are the norm for Bo. We need some fresh coaching blood in Lincoln, from top to bottom. If we're going to fire him it'll be for UCLA and Minnesota. Not this game. I totally agree with that. And let's not forget we were a hail mary away from losing to NW at home too. This game was coached better than most, but the players truly didn't execute (as Bo would say). But I also think that, typically when an AD fires a head coach, they are looking at the overall resume of the coach, and the trend line. Bo peaked with the 2009 team, and his teams have gotten gradually worse since then. He's zero for six when it comes to winning a championship. Quote Link to comment

Haspula
Without 5 turnovers we win this game. Absoulutely. Thier D was not that good. Ahahahahahahahahahaha Good one! Quote Link to comment

presidentjlh
We're already there. We haven't win a championship of any type this century. But now I'm certain we're not even making steps in that direction. This season should have been 2 losses at the most. Not a 3 loss season with no division title with 2 reg. season games to go. We ran at will on them; 5.7 ypc and 182 yards rushing. Quote Link to comment
