Mavric
College Football Injury Report. http://www.donbest.com/ncaaf/injuries/ So, 10 for Nebraska (even though I'm not sure about two of them), 8 for Alabama, 12 for Clemson, 11 for Florida St., 11 for Georgia, 9 for LSU, 8 for Ohio St., 12 for Oklahoma, 12 for Texas, 15 for UCLA, 13 for USC and 19 for Virginia Tech. We're so much worse than everyone it isn't even funny. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
College Football Injury Report. http://www.donbest.com/ncaaf/injuries/ Is that list complete? It shows only two O linemen. I'm pretty sure we had more than that. Quote Link to comment

HUSKER FREAK
We have a lot more injuries than that. Most of them aren't reported, and a lot of injured players were still playing. This list doesn't show sh#t really. And it sure doesn't show anything that I was trying to say, like getting winded, dinged up after one or two plays in and tapping out, constantly stopping play for someone getting dinged up. Could it be the football gods have it out for us, not impossible I guess, but more than likely there is more to do with it than that. Quote Link to comment
307husker
Playing in a up tempo offense creates an illusion that we aren't conditioned well. In the past, slower tempo allowed more rest between plays. Now, players go out for a play or two to get the same rest. I highly doubt that our S&C is a significant problem. Quote Link to comment
307husker
Devnet, try to comprehend what people are saying before making dumb comments. Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
We have a hard time shedding blocks on defense, and we have a hard time maintaining blocks on offense. Not sure exactly why that is, but I'd say strength could certainly be an issue. Though it could easily relate to technique as well. Quote Link to comment

It could be a problem but I think it is more to do with attitude and/or technique then an actual S&C problem. I agree with 307 about the speed of the game and how it affects players. Oregon runs the fastest tempo and their guys sub in and out a lot. Quote Link to comment

Polarhusker
College Football Injury Report. http://www.donbest.com/ncaaf/injuries/ WOW. Alabama's S&C sucks also. all those injury's could of been avoided with proper training. Quote Link to comment

Of course it's just simply a BS report. your information is much more valid. Quote Link to comment

VV is usually a yard deep in the back field but he's had a hard time shedding blocks to make tackles, which to me doesn't suggest a lack of strength but youth and inexperience. Quote Link to comment

We have the #7 rusher in the country who is now #5 on the single season charts in Husker hisotry. I have a hard time believing we're not doing an adequate job blocking for him. Quote Link to comment

Abdullah is a damn good running back, and a very hard runner. He deserves a lot of credit. Quote Link to comment
