Any Chance TM can play/start the bowl game?

Recommended Posts

Bo said there is a chance, yes.

this is more strategy against whoever we play... doesnt mean that taylor has any chance of taking the field.

You really think Bo Pelini is one that has displayed an ability to be strategic in his interactions with the media? :)

we could get in on it too....

if everyone on huskerboard gets a twitter account and just starts rambling about how you have inside info that taylor is starting no matter what the coaches say, we could get it viral. throw off the other teams game plan. it'd be sweet.

Metatarsophalangeal joint sprain. Translate: turf toe. You ever heard of Metatarsophalangeal (20 characters!) ? New for me.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

Turf toe (metatarsophalangeal joint sprain) is named from the injury being associated with playing sports on rigid surfaces such as artificial turf and is a fairly common injury among professional football players. Often, the injury occurs when someone or something falls on the back of the calf while that leg's knee and tips of the toes are touching the ground. The toe is hyperextended and thus the joint is injured. Additionally, athletic shoes with very flexible soles combined with cleats that "grab" the turf will cause overextension of the big toe. This can occur on the lesser toes as well. This is a primary reason why many athletes prefer natural grass to turf, because it is softer.

Later on for this wiki article:

Turf toe can often progress into a chronic problem, in which the joint(s) never really heals or heals too slowly to return to usual physical activities.

I've never been a TM fan. The guy had guts, but almost always under performed in big games. However, I'll admit that TM gives us a chance to score more points than does TA. If he's fit, let's use him. However, let's bring TA in for a few series, too.

2010 Washington, 2010 Kansas State, 2010 Missouri, 2010 Oklahoma State, 2011 Ohio State, 2011 Michigan State, 2011 Penn State, 2012 Wisconsin, 2012 Northwestern, 2012 Michigan and 2012 Michigan State disagree with your assessment that he almost always under performed.

he played in what, 45 games during his career here...and you managed to list 11. Yup, that's about right...

Or 4 a year. That's the easy way.
