I remember his rookie year he missed 2 FGs < 40 yards in one game and I wondered what had happened to him. Same kind of thing happened with Maher his senior year. Form is so fleeting for kickers..... being a Packer fan I've watched Mason Crosby alternate yearly between extremely reliable and an accident looking for a place to happen. Not surprising that kickers seem have the most nomadic NFL careers. Quote Link to comment

Others not so lucky: In the very first round of cuts Larry Asante was let go by raiders. Former 'skers Mike Mcneil and Zach Potter cut by their teams in the round of 53. Don't know if they catch on somewhere else. Marcel Jones also cut by whoever he was playing for. Quote Link to comment
