PaulCrewe
Very interesting scuttlebutt being thrown around all over the Badger boards regarding the Gordon situation. Lots of talk about, him voicing his displeasure of Anderson not putting Stave in the game. This whole thing could get interesting ad Anderson seemed to put blame on everyone but McElvoy. I thought the announcers of the game said they saw Stave throwing at half-time and he was throwing knuckle-balls and thought he had a bad shoulder. I don't follow Wisky football so I don't know any of the history on his shoulder, but that's what they said. Quote Link to comment

Michiganball
LSU definitely over ranked but that's no surprise as they barely beat Iowa last year, they got the sec hysteria votes however. But really this was a meeting of a team that could not pass vs a team that could not run. Decent game that Wiscy would have won if as usual B1G did not have to travel to sec land. Mavric
Benjamin Worgull @TheBadgerNation 31m GA says Melvin Gordon had a hip flexor and that they made a decision to hold him back in the second half. Jesse Temple @jessetemple 33m GA: "Melvin had a little bit of a hip flexor. Anybody that knows Melvin can see that on the long run. It was very obvious he pulled up." Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Adam Rittenberg @ESPNRittenberg 2m Wisconsin announces QB Joel Stave to miss undetermined amount of time. Shoulder problems flaring up. Not improving enough to play. Quote Link to comment
Creed
I had a feeling LSU would come back and win. I have seen countless SEC 4th qtr comebacks vs B1G in bowl games in my life. I should research that just to see how often that happens. B1G teams just cant seem to hold the lead. BTW, is it just me or do LSU/SEC players act like aborigines after any type of big tackle? Why not just get up, maybe do a fist pump then go back to the huddle? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Adam Rittenberg @ESPNRittenberg 3m Huh? Story keeps getting weirder RT @jaypo1961: So reporters told that #Badgers Stave is NOT injured. More to come Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Brian Bennett @BennettESPN 4m Gary Andersen on Joel Stave: "Injured was probably a bad choice of words by me." Strange days. I would go out on a limb and say if he wasn't "injured" then "injured" indeed was a bad choice of words. Anderson trying to set a new record in the backpedal. Quote Link to comment

QMany
If you're watching the broadcast, the announcers watched him pregame and basically said he couldn't throw a football. Sounded like some kind of minor shoulder issue that is greatly affecting his ability to throw. Injury was probably a bad choice of words, but I think I understand what Anderson was getting at.
