Nebraska has the best hospitality to any team coming here to play football, they can bitch all they want, cuss, make a fool of themselves, experience the folks waving and being polite, and make sure the Miami fans abide by the law. We have a sign on the Exit door that will thank them for visiting Lincoln, Nebraska. Call that trash talking? Are they in college or in grammar school? Whatever. Bring what you got and we will do the same. I think it will be a close game, we win. Later

Shutting em down will shut them up. Punch them in the mouth on the first series and watch their "renewed" spirit die. They, like us, appear to have more "mental"issues than physical ones. Our DB speed is solid enough to stay with their burners. Press coverage and they can't hit what's not there. Send the DL every play. No patty cake. Collapse the pocket and punish the QB. Get in his head early and often.

Like us against FAU, I think Miami is putting to much stock in their performance against Arky St. Same as us. Call me win you beat someone. This weekend is the "someone" for each of us.....................

I think we have to hope Bo wisens up to the fact that we gave way too many easy underneath catches and slants cause we played so far off. With the Miami recievers the YAC could kill us. We NEED to press these guys to give RG4 and McMullen a chance to wreak havoc.

Imagine the internet trash talk that potentially could have been flying around if the social medias were the big deals in the Michael Irvin, Jimmy Johnson-ish era of the 80s. That would have been real fun to watch.

There was. In 1986 when Miami was #2 and Oklahoma was #1, they came down to the Orange Bowl for a regular season game:

“Hello?”

“Is this Boz?” Bratton asked.

“Yeah …”

“Well, this is Melvin f—–‘ Bratton and Alonzo Highsmith, and this is your f—— wake-up call, m—–f—–! And at high noon we’ll see your sorry ass in the Orange Bowl and we’re gonna kick your f—— ass!”

As soon as Bosworth hung up, Bratton and Highsmith told Hurricane defensive lineman Jerome Brown of the “exchange.” Brown summoned the entire defense to his dorm room, from which they called the hotel and asked to be connected to Sooners quarterback Jamelle Holieway. “Ja-may-al, come out and paaa-lay-yay,” Brown taunted, “Come on out, Ja-may-al.”

When he later learned of the calls, Johnson nearly fell over laughing. And why not? His Hurricanes had won, 28-16.

Sounds like a team that scared the living ^@#* out of #1 Oklahoma in 1985, 1986 and 1987, beating them 3 years in a row.

1. Is your caps lock broken?

2. Yes, lock them up for prank calls. Is that a felony in Nebraska?
