Eric the Red
I'm scared to see what it might be like this game. Last week against Rutgers the crowd was one of the worst I have ever heard and seen. Two glaring parts of the stadium were void of any fans. Upper student section was bare and so was a piece of upper northeast stands. Crowd was dead, quiet and wasn't very interested in game. Will we see a change with the later start for Purdue? Mavric
I would guess the afternoon kick will help. I'll do what I can. Quote Link to comment

Will we see a change with the later start for Purdue? The daytime starts and relatively uncompetitive games don't help get/keep the crowd in it, that's for sure. The crowd was fairly dead at Rutgers, but still managed to make some noise on third down defense. Maybe the little bit later start will help. One thing I notice is if I make some noise it spreads out to my section and everybody starts making more noise. Individuals need to step up and be leaders in the crowd too. 1 Quote Link to comment

I didn't pay much attention once the game started. I didn't notice empty sections anywhere else. Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
My seats are in the NE stadium and the student section was full by kickoff. It was a typical game that we were favored by over 2 TDs. If was far from the worst crowd I ever seen. Quote Link to comment

If was far from the worst crowd I ever seen. I wouldnt say full. Although it was much more full than i thought it would be for an 11am game against a less than desirable opponent and being the beginning of fall break . And yes, far from worst crowd ever. It was pretty loud at times actually. Quote Link to comment

Can you try typing your thoughts more clearly? I'm just asking seriously here because I don't care to read what you type at all if when you don't. I find that some of your posts are ok and bring some added stuff to the conversation but your stylized posts take away whatever you might bring to it. If you're set on this, I'll just use the forum ignore function and never see anything you post again...and I probably won't be the only one. Dayyyyuummmm. Quote Link to comment

DrunkInBottoms
Many students were hungover from the night before due to formals and whatnot, and a 11 am game in the sun doesn't help anything. Halloween is the day before the game, with that being said, turn out may be around the same. The 2:30pm kickoff will help with attendance and the cooler weather may too. Quote Link to comment

I did not go to all the games when I was in college, I skipped a ton. Even now, I head down to Lincoln to tailgate/bars but I hardly ever go in the game. I guess I just don't find it as much fun as I do tailgating and/or hitting the bars. Quote Link to comment
