Thanks to all the seniors, coaches, support staff and fans that made this season happen. Hats off to the seniors who dedicated their college playing days to this university. While they are under alot of pressure often they have made it through. Congrats on staying the course, we are thankful for the time, hard work, and heart you put into this state and program. GBR

yes good season ending, looked like a possible blowout on natl TV coming and they made it a very entertaining game-maybe one of the more entertaining this bowl season. I guarandamntee you the pucker factor on USC's sideline was high. in a shambles, we still have the players to play with many in the country. sure hoping with some better recruiting, more depth, a different psychology and good coaching, we can become relevant again. maybe stretch to the final 4 once in a while, at least be an annual solid contender in our conference , making it to the B1G championship more times than not.

Well it wasn't our usual embarrassing type of loss. I can live with losing like that. Just wish the players woulda had a better scheme and play calling to work with. Get that D attacking and a non-handicapped OC calling plays and it woulda been a win. Thanks for nothing Bo, looking forward to next year.

Barney represented the temp HC position with class. Good effort by the players. Lots of work still to do to get better. Glad we got Riley and ready to move forward. It will be interesting and exciting to see what happens between now/Spring/Fall practices. GBR

I agree with this. Barney did a pretty good job not getting too emotional in what probably was a very emotional situation for him. He couldn't hide the pure shock and disgust on that play where the center snapped the ball before Tommy was ready but really aside from that he was pretty cool and calm. I saw him a few times on the sideline rallying the players and congratulating them after positive plays. He just maintained a positive vibe. I think that helped the teams mindset. It looked like the boys fought hard.

 

I can't wait for a staff to put these kids in the position to be successful. I hope this new staff is the one to do it. Gonna be exciting to see this all play out.
