Some dems and supporters now wondering if the coronation of Hil should be reconsidered. Should Warren be practicing her nomination acceptance speech yet?

Another more interesting article hereby Stanley Kurtz which follows the Boehner article on this link:

Other than for sheer power (a word that is synonymous with the Clintons), I don't understand why Clinton would go through with the run for president. For some people, it is all about power and nothing more - that may be her motivation. But we all know all of the 1990s junk, her SOS issues (not the least being Benghazi), Bill's travels wt the pedophile friend, Clinton Foundation foreign fund raising 'scandal', and now email gate and who knows what else is lurking in the shadows - wt this couple there is always something more :devil . She's wealthy, she can do great works via the Foundation and she has a grandchild - which is hard to enjoy at her age running around the nation and world campaigning. I don't write this to bash Clinton as I think she had the potential to have been a better pres than the current one but goodness isn't it time to just hang it up. I think the Rebs and the Dems need to find new blood and not reach back to the old - Bush or Clinton.

Everyone's telling her she'll win it. Kinda hard to say no to being the 1st female president.

Yes, it is easy to believe the press about ourselves when they are positive. It will be interesting to see how she works this campaign in comparison to how she ran 8 years ago (seems like so long ago in some ways)

Read an article this morning in the WSJ about her campaign. Not a lot is solidified about her campaign details - but it sounds like she is going to spend more time in intimate small group settings vs in front of larger crowds. I think the most important thing for her is to illustrate to the middle class, how she can relate to them. I think it also benefits her that she already has the backing of Obama and it doesn't seem like there are too many other democrats that will run against her.

Can we get past this Reagan crap? Please? He might have made people feel good, but his actions started us on the highway to the income inequality we have now. And GOP worship of him really makes no sense as he did all kinds of things that they are vehemently opposed to doing right now.

And the last thing we need is another business focused person in any office. What's good for businesses is often horrible for the people. Look at things right now. Stock market is at an all time high, CEO pay, exec pay, and corporate profits are all at record highs. Wages, benefits and perks are have all been falling, all the while working more hours. The income gap is growing exponentially. And the only thing business men focus on is what's good for the people who already have it great. If we don't get things fixed for the vast majority of our population we are in a world of trouble.

Kind of like when the Dems trot Clinton out and worship the ground he walks on.

The same thing always happened when any Kennedy that ever lived was worshiped by one side.

The fact is, Reagan wasn't probably as good as the Republicans want to make him out to be and he wasn't the devil like some liberals want to make him out to be.

Ahhhhh.... you gotta love American politics.

I'm all for Scott Walker.

However, I'm not dumb enough to think that anyone except the Democrat/Socialist viewpoint will win the nomination. Too many damn lazy idiots out there, and too many dumb people that feel sorry for them.

Because we wouldn't' want to help or fellow man now would we?

I'm for anybody but a status quo GOP candidate who panders to the extremists. However I'm not dumb enough to think that will ever happen. Too many damn redneck idiots out there, and too many ignorant bible thumpers that want to force their "values" on me.

Z - I agree wt the 1st part I highlighted in red. No more establishment candidates - Jeb Bush for example and also not one from the extreme like Ted Cruz. I'm ready for a new face/name. Regarding 'values' - in the market place of ideas, many values are 'forced' on us to consider. Some we agree wt and some we don't. Some we end up living with when they become the 'law of the land' - whether we like it or not.

I'll give Jeb the benefit of the doubt right now because I don't know much about him. He would be better than Cruz and that's not even open for debate. Cruz is the Bane of current American politics, and everything this country doesn't need. Jeb could be better than Rubio too. I had hope for Rubio when he took to the stage but for all his intelligence he's still become just another GOP candidate, no more original thoughts, he just toes the party line.

Regarding values I know you understand what I'm saying. We protect people's right to worship and separate that from the government, we don't beat the bible down on them and force them to live how our interpretation of "our" religion sees fit.

Yes, lets have a guy that doesn't have a college degree be the leader of our country.

I dont' disagree with basically what you said but I find it funny at the same time.

I have had many conversations on forums like this with liberal people who believe jobs that require a college degree are elitist and do nothing but hurt poor people and are designed to keep the poor in their place.

Have to agree with you about Rubio - it seems his 'flower has faded' over time and the rhetoric is becoming pretty routine. Maybe he was having a hard time finding his unique 'voice'. Cruz and Paul came along and started sucking all of the air out of the room.

I understand what you are saying about values also. No issues.

I've been a Scott Walker fan but of late I wonder if he will be able to weather the heat of the constant campaign pressure and exposure. Bush, Christie, Cruz, Paul all have had more media experience and exposure. We'll see if Walker is ready for prime time and avoids the Rick Perry moment.

Most degrees are garbage. Unless you have something like a medical, engineering or other sort of math/science degree, they hold little value, and should not have the weight and clout that they do.

That said, Walker is no different than the rest of the GOP parade of idiots. Greedy, hypocritical and holding onto mentalities and ideas of eras past.

Strigori,

I find it funny how the term "greedy" gets thrown around so much on the left side. As if the person making the comment wouldn't protect his money if he had millions. Say all you want but it's human nature to be greedy once you have the money. Even if you don't. Most of us cling to what we have.

I'm sure you'll be hounding the next powerball winner to go give all that money away. Or better yet, when you accrue loads of extra money, you'll be sure to not keep a cent of it.

So sick of reading this garbage about the left hating the greedy. Easy to point the finger.

According to this site, seven of the top ten and nine of the top twenty wealthiest congresspeople are Democrats, more likely to lean left than their Republican counterparts. And if we look down the list of donors to their campaigns, I'm sure we'll find Johnny Moneybags of both left- and right-leaning ideologies. (I'm too lazy to dig up a link for proof)

Greed isn't a tenet of one side of the aisle or the other. It's a Washington epidemic.

Some are...I wouldn't say most. The cost is getting out of hand though.

What makes most degrees garbage is the student themselves. If they take it seriously and use their time in school to actually do what they are supposed to do then most of the time, they can come out the other end with something that is of value. I was one that didn't take it seriously and I probably wasted a lot of money. I had friends get the exact same degree I had and they immediately came out of school making one hell of a lot more than I did or anyone I know who didn't go to college.
