cornographic
To celebrate being drafted by the Cowboys, Randy Gregory got a Cowboys themed tattoo. http://www.campussports.net/photo-randy-gregory-gets-dallas-cowboys-tattoo/ How do you guys think he's going to do at the next level with all of these talks about "mental issues" That tat looks pretty 'mental'. But I'm not a tat guy. Old school, don't get it, think tats are stupid. Ha ha! Good point. That's why I get all my tattoos from the Dollar Store: Well, it's good for your gurlfren to tat her initials in the small of her back, just in case you forget her name. So, I'm ok w that. Shhhh. Don't tell my wife about my girlfriend. I'll need some hush money.... Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
I am thinking if Ameer Abdullah had gotten a tattoo of the Lions logo, everyone would be saying "that's really cool". 3 Quote Link to comment

But he would never be so stupid as to do that, and that's why he will have a longer and more successful career than RG. 1 Quote Link to comment

So if a guy is into tattoos and get's a tattoo for his new team, he's being stupid? I'm not a tattoo guy at all, but this criticism of RG is getting pretty crazy. 4 Quote Link to comment
The Dude
I openly admit I don't understand this thing, so allow me to read deeply into this thing I don't understand. 2 Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
I'd say the line work is kind of meh...figured if he was gonna be stupid about it, he might as well dish out the money and get quality work. 1 Quote Link to comment
zoogs
What's Randy going to do in five or six seasons when he's with a different team? Quote Link to comment

I think it's a bit shortsighted and presumptuous to go out and get a massive Cowboy tat on your arm the day after your're drafted, yeah. Why not prove yourself a bit, get accepted in the lockerroom, play a game or 2, you know, like that. Show a little class. Then, if you must, get the tat, but still, maybe something a bit more undertstated. Only in sports and pop/rock/gangsta culture can anybody get away with these ridiculous tats. What if he ever has to become part of the real world? Even if you are in the Russian mob, you have to prove yourself for as long time before you get a tat. Like, kill a guy. It used to mean something. Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
It looks like we are getting to the old, white guy portion of our programming. 3 Quote Link to comment

So if a guy is into tattoos and get's a tattoo for his new team, he's being stupid? I'm not a tattoo guy at all, but this criticism of RG is getting pretty crazy. For me, it depends. If they plan on getting every single team they play for in the league tattooed somewhere as kind of a story of their career, I could see that actually being kind of a cool way to do it. If they expect their career to all be with one NFL team and get a tattoo for that reason, then yeah, that's a bit short-sighted. Only in sports and pop/rock/gangsta culture can anybody get away with these ridiculous tats. What if he ever has to become part of the real world? I've seen this line of thinking from a lot of people, and I've yet to see any evidence that they're right. My former boss, who was about 4th in the chain of command for the entire corporation, had tattoos all over. He has since moved on from here to a much higher paying job. Unless you have prison tattoos all over your face/neck, as long as you're actually capable of doing the job you're applying for, there's a lot less chance that you'll get negative marks for having tattoos than there used to be. I must have missed that memo. Quote Link to comment
